(10). DAVID WARNER - 12.50 CR

One of the most destructive openers across formats, David Warner captained SRH to their maiden tournament win in 2016. He had a good IPL season in 2017 as well and returned back strong in 2019 scoring 692 runs in 12 matches.He was the second-highest run-scorer for them in their title-winning effort with a monumental 848 runs at a strike rate of 151.42.

(9) JHYE RICHARDSON - 14 CR

He was the fourth most expensive player sold in the 2021 IPL auction after the Punjab Kings acquired him for a whopping price of INR 14 cr. Richardson had rapid career progress after finding success in both Sheffield Shield as well as the BBL.

(8) GLENN MAXWELL - 14.25 CR

Maxwell first signed for Delhi Daredevils in 2012 as a replacement player for Travis Birt who withdrew from the squad. Maxwell played two games in the 2012 competition. At the 2013 IPL auction, Maxwell was the most expensive player as Mumbai Indians bought him for 1 million US$. In 2014, he was bought by Kings XI Punjab

In the 2020 IPL auction, Maxwell was the subject of a bidding war between Delhi and Kings XI, before being bought by Kings as the second most expensive buy at IPL auctions 2020. In 2021, Maxwell was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore after another bidding war, this time with Chennai.

(7) KYLE JAMIESON - 15 CR

The all-rounder from New Zealand made his International debut against India in February 2020 and with that attracted quite a few eyeballs with his pace and bounce. He is the first New Zealand pacer to bag a five-wicket haul in both the innings of a Test match. During the 2021 IPL Auction, the Kiwi all-rounder was signed by the RCB for a whopping sum of INR 15 crores, thereby making him RCB’s biggest buy at the auctions.

(6) RISHABH PANT - 15 CR

Rishabh Pant, the swashbuckling wicketkeeper-batsman, was one of the three players retained by Delhi ahead of the 2018 auction, and paid it back with a season, scoring close to 700 runs. While he missed out on the IPL Orange Cap but his batting was a bright spot for the Delhi Capitals, who went on retain the youngster for the next two seasons, including for the IPL 2020.

Named skipper for the IPL 2021 following an injury to Shreyas Iyer, Pant, who has 1 hundred and 12 IPL fifties to his name, is coming into this edition of the tournament on the back of a brilliant run of form in international and will be looking to replicate the same for Delhi Capitals.

Rohit led the Mumbai Indians to a successful campaign in the 2020 season, which was their second consecutive title and the Mumbai Indians skipper will be eying to become the first captain in the history of IPL to secure a hattrick of title wins.

(4) MS DHONI - 15 CR

A batting powerhouse, MS Dhoni possesses the ability to destroy different bowling attacks on his own. The calmness and composure in his demeanor along with a sharp cricketing brain accounts for a lethal combination on the cricketing field and the glistening silverware in the trophy cabinets at CSK are a testimony to his extraordinary leadership skills.

He was the face of Chennai Super Kings for the first eight editions of the league, leading them to two titles (2010 & 2011) and four runner-up finishes. He then became the first player to be drafted by Rising Pune Supergiant in the ninth edition of the league

(3) PAT CUMMINGS - 15.50 CR

He was the most expensive buy in the 2020 IPL Auction after being bagged by KKR for a whopping 15.50 crores. It was back to purple and gold for pacer Cummins who picked 12 wickets in 14 games that included a 4-wicket haul in the 2020 IPL season.

(2) CHRIS MORRIS - 16.25 CR

The South African all-rounder was with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL 2020 and despite missing the initial part of the season, he made his presence felt with the ball, scalping 11 wickets from 9 games. While he has shifted base from RCB to RR, Morris will be out to live up to the expectations and set the stage on fire for RR.

Chris Morris was sold to Rajasthan Royals for a whopping sum of INR 16.25 Cr & became the most expensive player bought in the IPL Auction history.

He is the new-age cricketer who is aggressive and expresses his mind on the field. In 2008, Kohli was inducted in the RCB squad and started leading the side in the year 2013. In the year 2016, he sat atop on the leading run-scorers list, thereby donning the Orange Cap at the end of the ninth edition of the league. The highest paid cricketer in IPL, ViratKohli was the first one to be retained by his franchise ahead of the IPL 2018 Player Auction and will continue to lead his side.
