You wanna feel old real quick? Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of the original Pokemon games' release in Japan. In America, next year the original Pokemon games will be old enough to vote (since they were released in 1998 in North America). Yeah, it's been that long. Here's the original intro for nostalgia's sake.

To celebrate this milestone, Nintendo is going to be releasing the original trio for the Nintendo 3DS next year on February 27, 2016. So in just a couple of months, you can relive the good old days. There's no confirmation yet on how much the games will cost. What is confirmed is that you don't have to break out the old link cable to trade your Pokemon. With this new fangled wireless technology thing, you can now do your trades via wireless connection. Thanks, technology!
