Gigabyte is going to launch a pair of solid state drives that will illuminate the inside of your computers both with their performance and with their literal lighting. They belong to the Aorus brand, they are NVMe, of PCIe 3.0 x4 format, and they have read and write speeds much higher than those of the SATA type SSD. It was already known of its existence since CES 2019, but it has been now that its product pages have appeared on the Internet. They will reach the market in two capacities, 512 GB and 1 TB , and here you have their specifications:

512 GB model

• Sequential reading: 3480 MB / s

• Sequential writing: 2100 MB / s

• Random 4K reading: 360,000 IOPS

• Random 4K writing: 512,000 IOPS

• Duration: 800 TBW

1TB model

• Sequential reading: 3480 MB / s

• Sequential writing: 3080 MB / s

• Random 4K reading: 610 000 IOPS

• Random 4K writing: 530,000 IOPS

• Duration: 1600 TBW

In spite of placing pairs in performance to the SN750 units of Western Digital , the AORUS RGB AIC seek to stand out with their aesthetics, and that is why they defend their AIC format with a RGB illumination guided with the Gigabyte software. According to the house, on the other hand, this format facilitates cooling. We still do not have information about its launch or price, but it will be soon, that’s for sure. Recall that Gigabyte entered the SSD market less than a year ago . It seems that the market is more florid than ever.

Despite the insistence of the fans, SEGA did not distribute outside Japan this installment of the Yakuza franchise, which moved the action to Kyoto in 1605. Its plot is heir to the historical scenario after the famous Battle of Sekigahara and in it appear real personalities like the famous warrior Musashi Miyamoto.
