How to get rich quick in Fish Tycoon 2

This is a walk through and information guide for the game Fish Tycoon 2 from Big Fish games. The most common question I see on game boards is How to make money as fast as possible. Luckily, I have figured out exactly how to do that and it's all about breeding and selling the Magic Fish. Especially the Golden Guppy! I hope this article helps.

How to get rich quick!

Unfortunately, I don't know how to get rich quick in real life quite yet. This guide can only help you get rich quick in the game Fish Tycoon 2 ... sorry if there was some confusion there.

Step One: Get your first magic fish.

The Magic Fish of Nutrition is commonly found in starter eggs. Even though it is a magic fish, it is still a common fish. Which means that you don't need an upgraded tank to keep them alive and healthy.

Another way to get The Magic Fish of Nutrition is by breeding a Daffodil Beta with a Spined Shark.

Daffodil Beta + Spined Shark = Magic Fish of Nutrition

Step Two: Get a second Magic Fish of Nutrition

Magic Fish of Nutrition + Striped Flash Fish = More Magic Fish of Nutrition

Step Three: Dedicate a specific tank just for breeding Magic Fish of Nutrition.

Have 7 Adult Magic Fish at a time, breed them all with each other. There is a max of 21 fish in each tank so once the babies are born you will have 14 babies.

Step Four: Let the babies grow up.

You can use 'InstaGrow' or let them grow up naturally.

Step Six: Sell your Magic Fish

Put them in the magic fish and start a sale. Make sure to keep enough magic fish to keep breeding them though.

Step Seven: Upgrade your tanks with research!

You need to have a better tank environment to handle breeding more rare fish. So upgrading your research is a crucial step in this plan.

Step Eight: Get the Golden Guppy!

The golden guppy is the most expensive fish in the game. Without changing the price it is already worth $228. However, most people make it worth $250. So once you have researched the environment all the way than the Golden Guppy is the best and fastest way to make money.

Here are a couple of ways to breed your first Golden Guppy:

• Greenfin Leaf Fish + Canary Shark = Golden Guppy
• Snubbed Rainbowfish + Spined Fatfish = Golden Guppy
• Snubbed Arrowfish + Spined Fatfish = Golden Guppy

Step Nine: Dedicate a tank just for golden guppies

Have 6 or 7 adult Golden Guppies at a time. Breed all of the Golden Guppies together. Use 'InstaBirth' and then collect all the babies in one of the sell tanks. Once your sell tank is full of guppy babies use 'InstaGrow'.

Step Ten: Sell you Golden Guppies and watch the cash flow in!

You did it! Congratulations! You now have all the money in this virtual world and can easily get the rest of the upgrades.

Quick Summary.

When first starting breed and sell the Magic Fish of Nutrition. Once you have done enough environment research get your first golden guppy. Breed and sell the golden guppy. Bread and the sell the golden guppy. Repeat again. Keep breeding and selling the golden guppy and you are happy with the amount of game money you have.
