Omni Magazine: Pseudoscience Then and Now
For every science-fiction fan who remembers Omni magazine as the first place they encountered the work of Ursula K. Le Guin, William Gibson, or George R. R. Martin, there is another former reader who remembers the increasing number of pages dedicated to UFOs, non-peer reviewed medical recommendations, and paranormal discoveries.

What Does "Mercury Retrograde" Mean? A retrograde planet is one that, from the vantage point of earth, appears to be moving in the opposite direction. From an astrological perspective, this means that the energies represented by the planet are directed "backwards" or "inward." Retrograde periods are often riddled with delays and disruption, but there's no need to panic. It is just a time for reflection rather than for taking action. These periods can actually be loaded with magic & synchronicity, causing things from the past to return to us, whether this be people, situations, memories we thought we had forgotten about or lessons that we're getting a second chance to learn after having failed the first time around.

The outside world was unknown to her, but she could see a glimpse of it through the window in his room. Shifting sunlight filtered through murky, soup-like gas clouds. The multitudinous colors created a mesmerizing effect over the blasted, lifeless earth. It was beautiful in a way, but Zori knew if she took one step out there she would choke on those colors.
Bex JordanPublished 3 months ago in FuturismFiction Is a Driver of the Future
There are many reasons why writers write. Some have a story that simply has to be told, others like to create worlds that can be shaped and molded by their own thoughts and desires. Regardless of the reason, the end product is not just ink on paper or words on a screen; the final product is a blueprint that can be used as inspiration for more ideas and a driver of innovation and technology that can be developed further at some point in the future.
Don’t forget how Starlink helped Ukraine since the beginning of the War
At the start of the Ukraine-Russia war, I recall how Elon quickly supported Ukraine by shipping Starlink within two days. This after a viral tweet from Ukraine's vice prime minister asking Elon for Starlink support which arrived two days later. This greatly helped Ukraine's military internet communications after these were targeted by Russia.
Gia SantosPublished 6 months ago in FuturismStar Wars Andor Is Upon Us
While there still isn't a lot that we know about the series, it's been described as a taught spy thriller, in space. From what we saw in Star Wars: Rogue One, Diego Luna brings a compelling character to life in the form of the rebellious Cassian Andor. As the series got a second season before we even knew it was headed to a fall premiere, this should be a Star Wars adventure that will leave fans both happy and wanting more.

Can Inflation be reversed?
Inflation is a persistent increase in the price of goods and services over time. It is a natural part of any economy and can be caused by a variety of factors, such as an increase in demand for goods and services, a decrease in supply, or an increase in the money supply. While some level of inflation is necessary for a healthy economy, high levels of inflation can be detrimental to economic growth and stability. As such, the question of whether inflation can be reversed is of great importance to policymakers and economists alike.
Nawazish aliPublished about 4 hours ago in FuturismCan AI replace Human intelligence?
Artificial intelligence (AI) has been a buzzword in the tech industry for years, but as technology advances, the question of whether AI could replace human intelligence has become more prevalent. While AI is capable of performing many tasks with a level of accuracy and efficiency that humans cannot match, it is unlikely that it will replace human intelligence completely.

Lithium is often referred to as the "metal of the future" due to its widespread use in rechargeable batteries, which are becoming increasingly important in our modern world. As a critical thinker with hands-on technical knowledge, I find the idea of Lithium as the future to be incredibly intriguing, as it represents a shift in the way we power our lives and the potential for new and exciting technologies.

Max For YouPublished about 8 hours ago in FuturismWHAT IS AREA 51?
WHAT IS AREA 51 ? Area 51 is a United States Air Force base located at Groom Lake in the Nevada Desert, 85 miles (135km) north of Las Vegas. It has been shrouded in mystery for decades and has been the subject of many conspiracy theories, most famously for its alleged connection to extraterrestrial life. It is heavily guarded and pilots who purposefully fly into the restricted air zone can face court martial, dishonorable discharge, and a possible prison sentence. Area 51 was the birthplace of overhead espionage for the CIA, and it’s where the U-2 spy plane was first built back in the 1950s.The purpose that Area 51 has served since the 1970s is still a top-secret mystery, and it will be a few more decades, at least, until current work is declassified and available.
