To another Dimension: Astral Projection

Astro projection

Astro projection is one of those subjects believers love to talk about, and It's fun. Many theorists have their own views and warnings of danger when it comes to pursuing the activity of going into realms unknown, and Rightfully so. In this insert, I will post my belief of this phenomena and provide evidence of its existence and some relation to Astral projection that we encounter every day unknowingly.

What does it Mean to Project?

What is astral projection? First off, what does it mean to project yourself? Have someone ever told you, "It seems like your projecting." I present to you that whatever situation makes people say that is probably 100% Astral projection. Letting your emotions communicate unfiltered. There are a few elements to this study I need to present to you before I go any further. Let's dive into the soul; what theorist can all agree on is being projected in some form or fashion.

But what is the soul? When they think of a soul, many believers think of a carbon copy of the body draped in white, clothed, and all. Some believe the souls take the form of an orb, and some a flame or even smoke. But one thing should be certain. The soul is pure consciousness. I like to see our consciousness as a radiant existence, similar to a very dim shining light in a smoky or dusty room, where you can make out the light paths. I like to think consciousness, or our soul is a glow that radiates light expounding from the CenterPoint of an unknown source.

The importance of the Ego Barrier

When it comes to Astro projection, I believe one more element is important to understand. And that is Ego. Our Ego works as a protective barrier to our consciousness. Like a barrier, I like to refer to it as "The Ego barrier." A lot easier to understand is that your ego protects you from the consciousness of those projecting. If you have a strong ego, miserable people will not make you miserable. As you can probably tell, the Ego plays a major role in the safety of astral projection. I like to think of the ego as an actual physical barrier. It helps me map out how Astral projection works, so for now own, I will use the ego as a physical wall or barrier around the body.

All humans have an ego barrier that is set to semi-permeable. Meaning that we allow our consciousness to escape in controlled amounts. This usually happens in communication and body language, where someone knows what we're feeling or thinking without having to spell it out. We can control our ego barrier and change its strength every day. A wide-open Ego barrier is usually seen in thrilled people; Their emotions are for the taking. These people usually make others happy, and this means that not only are their ego barriers wide open, but their egos are so excited and strong that it leaks into the consciousness of others. Unfortunately, this also happens with sadness. These are two emotions where the ego barrier is open. Some people are so sad that it just brings down the mood. Consciousness is contagious.

Into the Astral Plane

I mentioned in the beginning that we Astral project every day without knowing it. At the same time, our attitude affects subconsciously how open our ego barrier may be. That's not an astral projection. True Astro projection is more of a full-body or a full consciousness experience, not just one emotion. I believe this naturally happens when we dream. A night of deep sleep with dreams can have many emotions, but still in a realm that we escape from once we awaken. I declare that a percent of the brain is set aside to manage our ego as we dream, letting us experience astral projection but keeping enough ego barrier together not to pull too much back or not let too much of us get lost upon return.

So what is the realm of dreams? So we've covered that our consciousness is what does the traveling, anchored to reality by our ego. So, where does our consciousness go when we dream. A border separates this realm we live in, and the unknown realm called the astral plane. I believe on the other side of the astral plane are a multitude of different emotions, consciousness, and egos. I like to think of this realm concerning our consciousness and soul entering it akin to dropping oil droplets in water. Where the water is the other egos surrounding you at any time, a healthy, professionally managed ego will keep your consciousness separated from all the other emotions that plague this world. In contrast, a weak ego is subject to the realm, like dropping food coloring in water; if you want to get the food coloring back, it will be impossible without some of the other water you dropped it in.

In conclusion

When we sleep, our brains do an amazing job at keeping everything where it belongs, but some people with less than stellar egos still wake up feeling a different way, rather sad, mad, or disappointed. I believe this happens when we bring another emotion from another consciousness during our waking. Even worse, there are some to claim to be able to cross the Astro plane without sleep. By going into a meditative state and manually opening up the ego barrier, you open your consciousness up to a world unknown. If we cannot manage our ego, we are subject to any other emotion from any other entity consciousness. Some may come back angry, unfulfilled, disappointed, etc.

That's my explanation of astral projection. We do it every day when we open our egos to express our feeling unto others and when we sleep. Some go a step beyond and attempt to cross the astral plane consciously. Hopefully, studies and theories will evolve this phenomenon to understand more and find benefits to it. Until then, I'm happy in this realm. :)
