She appeared one night,

wearing shadows around her shoulders.

Skimmin' home after a terrific day in the holodrome,

A bunch of us dudes just dusted some devils from hell.

The virtual effects were scary,

On the battlefield, it got really hairy,

But we kicked some demonic ass and none of us fell.

We scorched the enemy 🔥🔥🔥 and watched the death count swell.

Skimmin' home after a rumble at the holodrome,

I see her shrouded in shadows, standing on the roof below.

As I rush to land my skimmer,

The moonlight makes her raven hair shimmer,

We come together, bathed in the lunar glow.

And she immediately clouds my senses!

Suddenly nothing is as it seems!

Shedding inhibitions and pretenses

She wraps me up in the dream!

Much too perfect not to be programmed

Yet more passionate than any droid has ever been.

Much too delicious for me to give a damn

If these are real or over-imagined sins.

Tonight I slipped away and left my buddies screaming!

Is she an alien or from here?

I live in wonder and in fear,

But if this is a dream, just let me go on dreaming.

If she is a scheme, then let me go on scheming!

If she's a meme, then let me keep on meme-ing!
