Is the Metaverse the Future of Retail? Here’s Everything You Need to Know About It.
If you remember back to when Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg declared that his firm will now be known as Meta, you may have first heard about the Metaverse. However, although the phrase has been in use since the early 1990s, it is currently being applied more broadly in order to express a multidimensional interconnection of the real and virtual worlds. It is anticipated that citizens of the Metaverse would have a sense of belonging to what Zuckerberg refers to as a “embodied internet.” Users will be brought together for shared experiences and a sense of community that have not previously been available through typical 2D webpages and applications, according to the developers. All of this will be made feasible through the development of increasingly powerful computers, interactive platforms, and virtual reality gadgets, among other technologies. As a result, what does the future of retail look like in the Metaverse?
Did You Know George Lucas' Original Plans For Boba Fett?
When it comes to iconic figures in the Star Wars universe, it could easily be argued that Boba Fett ranks in the top 10. Despite having very little screen time and hardly any dialogue in the original trilogy, his onscreen look and mystery around him was one of the things that really made him cool. Boba Fett first made his appearance in 1978 in the justifiably maligned Star Wars Holiday Special, in a small animation clip. Initial reactions had been good and George Lucas started making his early plans for Boba Fett in the movies.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the heavily anticipated and long awaited LEGO Star Wars video game (originally slated for 2020), encompassing all nine films in the Skywalker Saga, will finally be released on multiple platforms on April 5, 2022. This is, of course, not the first time that Star Wars has been playable as a LEGO video game. There have been collections of the prequel trilogy, the original trilogy, the Clone Wars (based on the 2008 animated series), and The Force Awakens, and the "Complete Saga" (Episodes 1-6) released previously.

Spring and summer of 2022 promise to be a busy (and also quite extensive) time for Star Wars comic collectors and completionists. In addition to long-running titles like the main Star Wars series, Darth Vader, Doctor Aphra, Bounty Hunters, and The High Republic, Crimson Reign, the story of Q’ira and her crime syndicate, will end in May only to be followed up by The Hidden Empire in June. Star Wars: Halcyon Legacy, a 5-issue miniseries based around the brand-new Galactic Starcruiser experience, started in February and will run until June. Then in May, the first issue of Star Wars: Obi-Wan, also slated for five issues, will be published just in time for the premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+. The Star Wars month will also see the release of the one-shot Krrsantan, collecting all of the previous comic appearances of the Wookiee bounty hunter and former gladiator in one handy format.
Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in FuturismIs Extraterrestrial Life Possible?
The question of whether there is intelligent life on other planets has been debated for many decades. Some believe that we are alone in the universe, but a vast majority consider that there is life on other planets, too. In fact, the probability of life appearing on other planets, the same way it has appeared on Earth is very high, given the fact that there are many solar systems in the universe, which have similar conditions as those on Earth. Unfortunately, our present development level has only allowed us to start exploring the nearest satellites and planets, so there is much to be discovered.
Where Will Obi-Wan And Darth Vader's Duel Take Place?
It is a duel forty-five years in the making. Since their final confrontation in A New Hope, people have been wanting to see the full story of Obi-Wan Kenobi and his relationship with Anakin Skywalker. Now, following the prequel trilogy, the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series, and the epic seven-season spanning The Clone Wars, it seems we may finally be getting the last piece of the puzzle in the story of Obi-Wan and Darth Vader. Obi-Wan Kenobi, starring Ewan McGregor in possibly his final return to the iconic role, will follow the aging Jedi Master as he temporarily leaves Tatooine to go on a vital quest which will lead him into yet another confrontation with his fallen apprentice. There are hundreds of questions floating around the Star Wars fandom in regards to this upcoming series and how it will handle the duel between Obi-Wan and Vader. One of the most intriguing of these questions is where the duel will be taking place.

In every aspect, space is perilous, and any endeavor to colonize it will be plagued with danger and pain. Because whatever inter-dimensional intelligence constructed the universe sure wanted us, humans, to stay the hell on Earth.
Subham RaiPublished 2 years ago in FuturismWhat We Know About 'Kenobi' Based On These Preview Images
Considered one of the greatest all-around Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi, aka the Negotiator, led a life directed by duty and commitment. Obi-Wan had to grow into himself. As a young Padawan, he was unsure of his Force abilities and assumed his Master, Qui-Gon Jinn, felt the same way. Kenobi did not seek adventure or excitement. Instead, his anxiety stunted his growth, as did his Master’s frugal doses of praise. Not until his mid-20s did Obi-Wan Kenobi fully reach his potential by defeating Darth Maul and taking on his own Padawan learner, Anakin Skywalker.
Culture SlatePublished 2 years ago in FuturismIs Technology Ruining the World?
What is The Problem with Technology? Technology is an interesting subject. It can either make our lives easier or harder. Johnathan TurnerPublished 2 years ago in FuturismBrain Storage Capacity and the Future of Intelligent Life on Earth
"Cogito, ergo sum"- "I think, therefore I am", this is how Rene Descartes described life. I would change this statement a little, and it would look this way: "I think and I have my own life memories, therefore I am." Thinking alone would not be useful if we couldn't create and store new memories every second of our life. And we should also be able to remember them in the long term. The question is, if (thanks to advanced medicine) we could live forever, where would we store all the memories, covering tens of thousands of years of life? Could our simple primate brain face this challenge?
Fan Created The Most Gruesome Jango Fett Death Using Deleted Footage
While Star Wars, for the most part, is pitched as a franchise suitable for all ages, the series hasn't shied away from showing what a lightsaber can do to a person. In A New Hope, Obi-Wan cut off Ponda Baba's arm during a brief altercation in the Mos Eisely cantina, but that was kind of cool more than anything. It let us know that Obi-Wan was more than a simple hermit. We also had Obi-Wan's death on the Death Star, but that wasn't exactly brutal from a physical standpoint. Vader hit Obi-Wan, then Obi-Wan disappeared. It was more mystical than anything. Well, come the iconic duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back, we got to see what a lightsaber can do when Vader slices off Luke's hand, which visibly goes flying while still clutching his lightsaber. It's a fairly brutal moment.
