A Summary and Review of Black Mirror Season 4
Spoiler Alert! Only read once you've watched the whole six episodes! Black Mirror has been one of my favourite shows since I saw the first episode. One of the reasons why it is such a work of genius is because the episodes in themselves are believable. Charlie Brooker and the other writers and creators construct societies and characters necessarily similar to those found in present day. The effect is that each episode presents a thought provoking "big" question about the direction in which technology can be taking us. Needless to say, after standout episodes like 'Shut up and Dance' in the third season and the highly rated 'White Christmas' in the second, my expectations for season 4 were high.

In 2006, when eight men checked into the Northwick General Hospital in London for taking part in a clinical trial for a new drug, they never thought they would be fighting for their lives.
Celestial Astronomy
Celestial Astronomy is a new branch of Astronomy which aims to solve the puzzle as to how the Planets and Moons originate in a Solar System. Most people think this has already been solved by legacy Astronomy. If you do any in-depth research what you will discover is most Astronomers agree they know how the Planets originate, though they won't say they are 100 percent certain. What they are entirely uncertain about and still perplexed by is how the Moons originate.

UFO: Understanding Flying Objects
The reason Earthlings can't find a solution to the UFO phenomenon is that they think UFOs fly. Immediately you will have people respond that there are objects flying in the sky that are unidentified so UFOs do fly. What I am referring to here is that since

He sits and lowers his head and takes a long breath. There’s a sandwich on the table next to him he’s just prepared for himself and he’s considering eating it, but first he just needs a moment. A second to close his eyes and breathe, lowered head, rubbing the worn knuckles of his hands with his leathery fingers. Trying to warm the joints, habitually trying to loosen sore and old bones, knowing it never has any effect, but doing it anyway.

Some gage the Paul Verhoeven adaptation of Starship Troopersas a brilliantly couched anti-war, anti-fascist statement, while others see no need to elevate this mindless 1997 B-movie slaughter. I’m with the former. But it’s those that are deeply offended by the political hijacking of Heinlein’s message that has me commenting again. I’ve now read the book and find that the vastly different outlooks complement each other perfectly.
Rich MonettiPublished 6 years ago in FuturismReview: 'Descender Volume One: Tin Stars'
-Non-Spoiler Section- Descender succeeds in taking an overdone concept, robots turning on humans, and creating a beautiful story that is told as much through it's minimalist watercolors as through the writing. The universe Lemire creates feels fresh and original and is teeming with story opportunities. Early on you recognize that the robots take on a fantasy level realism. The characters all have defined and conflicted personalities. It all comes down to how the art sets the mood and narrative choices make the plot feel fresh.
Christopher SardaPublished 6 years ago in FuturismTracking HIV: The Spread and Origin
HIV and AIDs is by far the worst epidemic we’ve seen in the 21st century. Approximately 1 in 4 people are infected and many cultures are affected without the healthcare to prevent or care for the people who have the disease. The prevalence for the disease in our language is lackluster when compared to cancers, heart disease, or even Alzheimer’s, however that further portrays this disease as the silent and deadly killer that we associate with it. Often going unsaid, those effected will suffer through stages of depression and hopelessness. The people around them will also be brought down, and there is not much support available for HIV/AID’s patients. After the epidemic increases to a legitimate danger to life & health of the immediate region effected, then those support programs will pop up. For example, AVERT & UNAIDS are doing great work in containing and supporting those who are affected and their families in highly infected regions of the world, such as South Africa.

I have been accused of Sorcery and Witchcraft. I will be burned at the eve of tomorrow. It is lies! I have been a faithful woman of God, a loyal servant. One of his most loyal. Since childhood, I have not been absent a sermon. I have raised abandoned children as my own, donated to the offering each mass, and held no God before him. I have aided this community and served as the village nurse. I have buried loved ones and prepared new marriages. I have repaired old marriages! I have counseled and advised. Lightened hardships and toughened bonds. Been a devoted wife to my husband; a descipable man that abused and neglected his duties, though a word was never cast from me. The secrets he contained. He fancied the younger girls, he did. Chasing after them as a rabid beast hunts its prey. Though I mended his threads, warmed his baths, and served his feasts. Silently.
