Tired, cold, hungry, in pain. My feet have torn through my shoes and have cuts and sores from hitting the tuff road. These once clean fitting clothes have turned into rags that are shedding off my body. From the time I started this journey; my smooth, young skin has become ruff, grey and cold. My once long and soft chestnut hair has knotted up into a grey nest. My feminine features have sagged and loosened. My once fit and peaceful body has tired and become incredibly painful to live in. This journey for purity and everlasting youth has taken my youth from me. Years spent on this road searching and waiting to taste from the desired fountain. Years wasted growing old on a road that has no end. Being a naive child, I believed the village tale of the winding road that lead to the silk water that when sipped by a selfless soul, gave them eternal youth.

There is never telling what's in store for future discoveries, so we need big thinkers. Before electricity, people never would have thought of what we could be doing now. I've read things about wireless electricity and floating cities in the upcoming future. Being able to grow organs, this would allow the possibility for immortality. From what I've seen humans do in my short 27-year life, I wouldn't put it past them.

How long had he been out? Laal shook his head and regretted it. His throat swelled and throbbed. He screamed, but the noise that escaped was a mere imitation of his voice.

When I am looking for a science fiction type show, I am always looking for a show in space, or discovering the next time machine, etc. Somehow, I am always getting more fantasy like fairies and elves. That may not be correct, but that is my understanding. So here are some sci-fi shows!

When I found her in the thicket where she had taken refuge in the hope of escaping again, she knew it was over for her. I could have unsheathed my gun, leaned the cannon on her temple and squeezed the trigger... She would have collapsed in the middle of the leaves and twigs. I would not have bothered to bury him. What's the point‽
CosCom WritersPublished 5 years ago in FuturismBiology Behind 'Zoo'
In the CBS show Zoo, the animals have evolved and mutated, they now recognize the way we as humans have treated our planet and them and are fighting back against us with their newly mutated ‘superpowers.’ The CBS show revolves around the fact that the animals are now more adept to the way humans have ruled the food chain and currently have the want to group together and fight back. Bats have begun to swarm together and are now taking planes down during the day. Rats are now slaughtering cabin crew members that they once peacefully shared a boat with. While everyday house animals like cats and dogs are just grouping together and making use of what they have to fight back. There are a select few animals that seem to have these ‘superpower” like gifts. Sloths now have the ability to cause earthquakes, there are ants that can create an electric current large enough to blow up buildings, and five other creatures that have mutated into a super beasts that can cause large scale destruction. As evolution itself as one of the facts in today's world concepts in the show, there are a few false to today's world technologies that the show revolves around as well. Such as the mother cell which is what is causing the animals to behave so differently so suddenly, the triple helix which is the three strand DNA which is why there are super mutated animals, and ghost gene which causes the “superpower powers” in these super animals.

I saw her fall—right out of the sky and into a crumpled heap on the cold canyon floor. I saw the shaky movements that jumbled together to form steps, and I saw the tears and frustration on her face as glorious white wings spread and reached back toward the sky, but there was no wind to carry her home. I waited till her sobbing fury became only echoes in the canyon, then I approached. I didn’t say anything. I just crouched next to her broken spirit and waited for her to climb out of her tears. I didn’t wait long. Swollen eyes glanced slowly over me and I saw shattered irises hiding a broken soul. There was a touch of disdain that flickered as I offered my hand.
