Randomness, and its omnipresence in everyday life
What is randomness? Everyone has experienced randomness in many different situations in life. This could be when playing a board game, looking at radioactive isotopes, or tossing a coin. Random events occur all of the time whether we notice them or not and influence the outcomes of nearly everything we do. Some "random" events can be predicted if you know enough details. For example, you could theoretically predict if a coin will land on heads or tails if you knew enough facts like the speed the coin was flipped and the rate the coin was spinning (well until it hits the floor) (Matthews, 2020). However, some things are truly random and there is no way to calculate their outcomes regardless of what you know. Finding random events in board games is relatively easy but finding them in real life is a much harder task. Differentiating between what is random and what is predictable is important and could save you time, money, and even help you better understand the world.

Top 5 Crazy Ideas to Solve Our Trash Problem
We love our convenience -- single-use plastic utensils, paper plates, disposable cups, plastic wrap, wrapping paper for presents, myriad types of plastic bags, etc. If there’s a way to create something to throw out after use, we’ll find it and run with it.
Pelos olhos de um xamã
Electric seas posses my irises. Raven windows bind light to mind, indulging signals from verdant dewy surroundings. Engulfed by verdure. Vines carrying leaflets scale mother natures necks. Lush foliage rest like clouds above. Mossy rhyolite beneath my bare feet. Statues weave their roots through the soil. Waves travel through the humidity to my eardrums- soft pattering of rain on all that is near. Tears trickle down the spines of the statues feathers. The Screaming Piha’s cry. My soul and body glide through the lush city of twisting emerald candles. I exist in a web, a matrix of spirit energy that connects and unites all life.
My Review of "Vivarium"
Vivarium already looks weird in the trailers but that's what kind of attracted me to this movie. It looked totally strange and yet very intriguing and that's really how the movie plays. The movie plays around with concepts and makes you question what you watched by the end of the movie. There's a lot of ways to interpret this movie so here's my take.

“Hey puppy! Whatcha got there for me? Huh bud?” My dog ran up to me excitedly, with something in his mouth. He dropped the item on my lap and stared at me, his long tail wagging vigorously, and saliva dripping down his exposed tongue. My eyes widened when I looked down and realized what was laid out before me. My homework. “No no no no no this can’t be happening! Flash, this took me 3 hours to finish!” I yelled furiously. I got up from my bed and started to pace around my room nervously. I held my homework in my hands, or what’s left of it. I sighed. How am I supposed to turn this in? Just when I got the tiniest idea in my head, Flash took the rest of my homework from me. “No! Bad! Bad dog!” I tried to pry his mouth open but it was too late. He had ingested it before I got the chance to take it back from him. Perfect! Just absolutely perfect! Now I don’t even have proof that I completed the assignment.

One fine day in the Shoal, the waiting space between worlds, the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone were discussing the topic of love over wine. Once upon a journey on that very same day, a masked traveler met the Fates, the trinity of witches resting on the side of a dusty road, enjoying cups of wine, the kind of rare vintage that only time could make. Interested in their discussion, the traveler who was an Owl Mage asked the three what they thought love was, if it could be summed up in just one word.

“Things are changing." The Wood Elf prince, who would eventually lose his crown to call himself Puck, smiled politely at the forest ghost, amused by its warning. The Dead were vague little things really, though there were those who thought the dearly departed were full of great and terrible knowledge. That they were permanently linked to visions of the past, or of the future, possibly both.

Of all the unlikely places to go, the old forgotten pumpkin patch that bordered the woods by her home was one of Madeline’s favorites. Overgrown and neglected in most places, the little girl especially loved it during the fall when the sky stayed permanently overcast, and the weather was cool to the touch morning, noon, and night. It was the time of year when Madeline felt the most alive.
