If you had the Powers to change things, what moments would you freeze?
Imagine you had certain powers bestowed upon you, powers like those of the traditional Lwanda Magere who lived a century ago among the Luo. It is believed that spear could not penetrate his skin during war, until one time someone thrust his spear into his shadow. Or those of Harry Potter in the Harry Potter fantasy novels, the wizard who could fly like a jet! Still, if you think of The Terminator2, Judgement Day, the action-packed movie of the 20th century in which Robert Patrick, acting as T-1000, walks through a metal gate, his body melting into fluid and then hardening when on the side of the gate.

Of all of the recent Star Wars properties created after the Disney acquisition, arguably none of them have been as hyped and well received as The Mandalorian. With its western feel, great characters, engaging story, and yes, Baby Yoda, it has been the one thing that has united all of the fans in their love for something Star Wars. With the success of the first season, a second season was inevitable, especially given the cliffhanger ending we got at the end of the first season with the appearance of Moff Gideon and the Darksaber.

With all these movies and concepts of aliens floating through modern culture, it is surprising that we haven't even found alien societies yet! But, why? Taking into account the size of the Milky way, or the size of the universe, how is it possible there are no aliens? Earth is not the only habitable planet for life to nurture in so where in the Universe are they?

I woke up when I heard the familiar bark of my alarm system. Someone was in the shop. I was actually enjoying my nap this time; no nightmares, no falling, no world in turmoil. Since everything fell apart I ditched my little apartment across town and taken to sleeping in the back of the shop. In a previous article I wrote, I briefly mentioned how my mother raised me with beliefs she learned from the Worldwide Church of God. Now, I want to discuss how these same beliefs helped shaped my views on religion in adulthood. For those of you who are unfamiliar, the Worldwide Church of God was started by Herbert Armstrong in 1933. He and his family were living in Eugene, OR and it was originally known as the Radio Church of God. As time went on, Herbert's program became known as the World Tomorrow long before it started airing on TV. From there, he established the WCG. The Worldwide Church of God was a doomsday cult. Herbert Armstrong told his followers he had all the answers and his beliefs were the only way. He said that other Christian churches and religions were false doctrine.
