The Engineers
If I do this thing, it might be the last thing I do. I've wanted this answer for a very long time, so why am I so afraid? I am always looking. Looking for proof, looking for clues…maybe a little wink from the engineers?

Luci let the warm steam and fresh aroma of espresso fill her nostrils for a brief moment before taking a sip of her steamy Americano. It was a brisk autumn morning and Luci sat alone at a corner table in the busy Florentine cafe’, enjoying the quiet murmur of nearby conversations as she scribbled original Italian poetry in her little black notebook.

“Oh no!” she exclaimed. Her morning was spent at one of her favorite spots-a bench that looked out over a waterfall. An ordinary day, but once she made it home, she realized her notebook was left behind. This was not just any notebook. It’d became one of her most prized possessions- a trustworthy and faithful confidant.
Tierra IdelisPublished 3 years ago in FuturismCapricorn Lifestyle
I consider myself a true Capricorn man. First of all let's get the record strsight. The symbol for the Capricorn is the ancient mythical Mer-goat, a half-goat/ half-fish creature that derives its wisdom from both intutive and physical realm as defined by www.astrology.com. I feel I am connected to the mythical creature the Mer-goat because I consider myself an earthy bound animal, however growing up in Melbourne, Florida I love water especially beaches. Under the sign of Capricorn with the characteristics described, some of them I can relate to from the physical realm as well as the spiritual realm. One of the emotional traits describe describes the Capricorns can be difficult to deal with especially in relationships.

I am a Leo. Not an arrogant Leo, but a bold Leo. I entered this earthly incarnation on August 11. Never mind the year, but suffice it to say I have been here awhile. The things I have witnessed are many and I am a champion to the underdogs of the world, be they humans, animals, oceans, forests or rocks, to name a few. Leos are fierce protectors.

Lex ToombsPublished 3 years ago in FuturismTalking Colors
“Shall we begin?” A suave voice pierces into the silence. I wish I had a face to the name. A wish I’ve made for as long as I can remember. He’s close enough for me to touch. His warm breath smells like mint. Spearmint. His voice sounds vibrant. Too young to be old. Attractive. I could reach out and maybe run my fingers over a beard or stubble. I don’t. That would be rude and weird. He smells fresh with a hint of cologne.

Her mother rounded the corner, holding homemade honey cake, a recipe passed down through generations, decorated with edible purple flowers and almonds.
Tell Me a Story
Tell Me a Story The bell hanging from the door of the antique store jangled as it always did every Saturday when Jared walked in. The smell of old furniture, books, and dusty objects filled his nostrils and while it wasn’t a pleasant smell it was a familiar and exciting one. He passed by some old jewelry boxes and china cabinets as he made his way to the counter with the shop owner.
Gaven WoodPublished 3 years ago in FuturismChasing Wind
A brisk wind pelted my face with tiny granules as I stood staring down at my empty street. A thick blanket of fresh snow covered a thin layer of ice, warding travelers off the roads. The ice was so bad that cars were parked off their steep driveways and stacked neatly along the street.
Eric Robinson JrPublished 3 years ago in FuturismFixed Star
Up is up and down is down, right? North, South, East, West are fixed, aren’t they? And Right and Left have always been where they are, haven’t they? It is, it always has been, hasn’t it? I am just not so sure anymore. Something has changed. Let me explain…
