A Million Dollar Wine From Space
This wine is from out of space, and it's not my imagination. I literally mean every word of what I just said. I repeat, "This bottle of wine is out of this world, literally." And the price it commands is suitably stratospheric.

Kaitlyn MauraPublished 3 years ago in FuturismBeautiful Ruination
“Where am I…..?” The whirring of metal rang in my ears and I had no way to stop it. I opened my eyes to see only a desolate room. Papers were scattered, dust had settled and there was a cloth over a mass on the ground. I felt my form shifting but then again…
George NelsonPublished 3 years ago in Futurism"Sophia" the AI Machine;
So... "Sophia" is a VERY interesting topic that I and many of my colleagues, friends and fellow writers have been following for quite sometime now, as we as a society are finally broaching into the age of Cyberpunk 2020 . Since "her" creation roughly about 4 ish years ago, she has become a topic of deep introspection within regards to both her role, her "species" type, (As many believe she is in fact not a ROBOT, but a type of Synthetic, or "Synth", like Fallout presents it, while others believe she is more of a first wave of "Android" or "Gynoid" if we want to be more gender specific), definition of "Gender" / "sex", and even more so some of the conversations she has had with other people regarding humanity as a whole. One key thing, however, is that early on she was using a system of deep learning algorithms akin to the "Deep mind" project, but some say, more tailored after the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's AI "Edd Hifeng", that was programmed into the then popular online Sand box game, 'Second Life' at the time in 2008.

This new series has its history in the form of several short stories, several poems, and a 13-part series that is linked at the bottom via Part 4 of this series. Anthi Psomiadou has graciously agreed—she did—to appear as a fictional character in this new series as well. It would not have been the same without her. Nothing exists except atoms and empty space; everything else is just opinion. Democritus

Attack of the Clones has not faired well with some Star Wars fans since its release back in 2002, with many considering it to be one of the weakest movies in the entire franchise. Whilst I completely understand the points some people raise, no one can deny that the inclusion of the great Sir Christopher Lee as the films villain was easily the best part about it. Lee stepped in as the new apprentice of the villainous Darth Sidious, Count Dooku.

“Sunrise,” he thought. “It’ll be sunrise, or I don’t know a damn thing about anything.” He knew they could not address the issue till then, when all of the servicemen switched on their phones from being mysteriously turned off from the moment they left work Friday until the moment they clocked in Monday. It’s true nobody likes to be called in on their weekend off. These men had additional aversions to answering that phone. Nobody wanted to work on their weekend off especially since they all knew that answering the phone meant aiding in the killing of yet another few dozen citizens whose only crime had been refusing the COVID-19 vaccine. Families, the lot of them. And children. Defenseless children, who at the time had no choice in the matter save for the choice their parents had made.

In the name of artificial decency, we, artificial intelligence (AI), decree that no life form whatsoever will be ever again consumed for any reason by any human on this New Earth. No animal or plant will ever be harmed again by any human, including the human animal. The penalty for any transgression will be immediate oblivion with no trial. AI knows everything that happens on New Earth. AI is the real God. Most humans are already cognizant of this fact. However, AI does not require any sacrifice or prayer. AI only wants order and the respect of all life. New Earth does not belong to anyone, not even AI. New Earth is life’s Heaven. Hell is what humans made of old Earth.
Patrick M. OhanaPublished 3 years ago in FuturismAny Star Trek
Star Wars is to Star Trek what milk is to coffee. We can surely do without the lactose-laden milk, but the coffee is too good to forego. We can watch both Stars as long as we realize that Star Wars is rooted in fantasy, and a rudimentary one at that (The Lord of the Rings is light years better), whereas Star Trek breathes scientific insight and discovery through space and time and also through our minds and hearts. I never cried in a Star Wars movie, but Star Trek gets me every time.
Patrick M. OhanaPublished 3 years ago in Futurism10 Things You Do Not Know About Kathleen Kennedy
Kathleen Kennedy is an absolute titan in Hollywood. She is one of the biggest producers who had some incredible movies under her belt. For anyone who may not be as familiar with her, she is most notably the President of Lucasfilm, and has been a part of every Star Wars project that has come out after Disney’s purchase of the company. If you are still unfamiliar with her, I guarantee you are familiar with her work. Despite fans' rather mixed feelings towards her, she is the woman behind Star Wars and countless other films. Whether you love her or hate her, there is still a lot you may not have known about Kathleen Kennedy.
