The Key to Hell
I stared at the broken heart-shaped locket that lay strewn all over the ground. I dropped to my knees ignoring the pain of rocks stabbing me through my jeans.
A.R. WilliamsPublished 3 years ago in FuturismThe Reason Jabba The Hutt Knew Leia's Rescue Plan
Regardless of whether or not Return of the Jedi is your “favorite” Star Wars movie, no one can say that it was not great. So much happened in the movie. We found out that Luke and Leia are brother and sister. We met the Emperor. Vader fell, and so did the Empire. Good won and the Force was brought back into balance. It closed out the original trilogy, but following the release of the prequel trilogy, it also served as the conclusion to George Lucas' six-film story.

After two decades, we still don’t know peace. And I’m fine with that. Each year that I’ve spent as a citizen of New Yellowstone, I’ve grown stronger and less interested in the way things used to be. War is our new normal.

REMEMBER. THOU ART DUST… Emmett was finding that sleep eluded him, and he yearned for it as a salvo, an escape from the putrid stench and the frequent, foul blasts of wind. There were few places to take cover these last few days (or had it been weeks?) as the squalls of fetid dust and debris had swept away most freestanding structures and every vehicle in the parking garage where he’d first taken shelter. For what was beginning to seem an eternity, his only release from the reality of terror and filth that encompassed him was in the hour or two when it seemed the atmosphere paused to regain its ferocity. Then, coiled into himself – ready to spring – he would sometimes manage to drown in a pool of his own exhaustion.

This new series has its history in the form of several short stories, several poems, and a 13-part series that is linked at the bottom via Part 5 of this series. Anthi Psomiadou has graciously agreed—you can ask her—to appear as a fictional character in this new series as well. Her full name in this series is Anthi Kanéna, or flowers without stems. I do not need a friend who changes when I change and who nods when I nod; my shadow does that much better. Plutarch

May 5th, 2035, is the day our world changed forever. The World Liberation Party has the world on lockdown. Earth is drifting into an asteroid belt and meteor showers are a daily struggle. John is picking up his daughter Sophie from bio-engineering camp just as the next wave of showers starts. Everyone is being re-educated for their new jobs on Mars. The asteroid Vanta is falling and Earth is spinning out of control.
Why This Iconic 'Star Wars' Hero Should Be The Antagonist Of 'The Book of Boba Fett'
While filming for the series has finished, The Book of Boba Fett is not slated for release until approximately December 2021. The only characters confirmed to be in the show are Boba Fett (because the show is obviously about him) and Fennec Shand, who was next to him at the end of The Mandalorian season 2. Everything else is free game at this point. We do not really know the premise of the show. Will we see Boba Fett picking up where he left off in his bounty hunting career? Will he just sit at the top of Jabba the Hutt’s former crime syndicate, handing down jobs and contracts to subordinates and loosely allied bounty hunters? Will he be hands on and do the jobs himself? Will he branch out into other underworld business?
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismThis Surprising Prequel Weapon Was Popular During The Age Of The Empire
The Star Wars franchise has brought us many things throughout its 40+ years of existence, including some of the greatest weapons ever seen on the big screen. The most of popular of which is obviously the lightsaber, but on top of that we've had blasters, thermal detonators, rockets contained within jet packs, and a whole host of others.

The surprised look on his face makes me pause in mid-step, as I watch his body slowly crumple to the ground. The bright red splotch on his chest continues to grow as he shrinks to the hardened dirt. "Fool", I mumble with a sneer. With the end of civilization behind us, how could he not know I would kill him?
'Return Of The Jedi' Is The Best 'Star Wars' Movie, And Here's Why
Okay, let’s get one thing out of the way right now. Star Wars is great. Every entry in this long-running series is fantastic in its own right. Together, they tell an amazing, generations-spanning story that really is the sum of its parts. However, any chance I get to talk about one specific film in this series is great to me, and Return of the Jedi is no exception. I absolutely adore this entry in the series. It is such a fantastic conclusion to the original Star Wars saga, and I think it is often an overlooked gem of the original trilogy.
Culture SlatePublished 3 years ago in FuturismOne More Wish
After eating some canned peas, I got up and stretched. “Back to work.” Continuing my morning ritual of dabbing Wish on my tongue, I set out for the camp. The stimulant in my system added some pep in my step. Streets were jagged while buildings were either toppled or damaged. The camp entered my line of sight with wanderers walking the streets. I tightened my backpacks’ straps as I entered the crowd. Makeshift stalls dotted the vicinity but mostly around the gated pharmacy.

Look at you, Gemini. Just look at you. Either you’re conquering the world by the sheer force of your personality, or you’re laying on the couch in a fetal position with an empty can of chocolate frosting by your head. How did it get this way? How does it always get this way?
