Throughout human history, humans have always been fascinated with flying. They looked into the tall sky and saw winged creatures, flying and soaring through it easily and elegantly. Whatever they saw fascinated their hearts, that someday they too can soar in the skies. However, there is a problem with flying, that is, the flying machines that the Wright brothers first invented couldn't stay stationary in the air. They must keep on gliding until they landed on an airstrip.

One of the reasons that humans fly is for transportation. It is also used in making fighter jets. Humans also have dreams of reaching the outer space somehow. Reaching the outer space requires more than a gliding machine. We want to reach other planetary systems or even galaxies, so that we may expand beyond our own planet, Earth.

Another thing that we must keep in mind of the act of flying is that it is risky, considering the altitude up into the sky we may reach. A fall may be disastrous to any human. Flying in the conventional way doesn't work anymore if we are to reach the outer of our planet.

Therefore, we needed something more than a glider, which would mean that we require an anti-gravity lifting technology compared to the common jet propulsion technology we are used to. In my fantasy, this anti-gravity lifting mechanism could be achieved using these techniques:

Design 1

a. Bi-Directional Air Molecules Smasher

In this concept, a two-bladed smasher made out of hard materials smashes air molecules in such a fast manner that they seem to be vibrating on each side of the blades. The amount of smashing each side makes doesn't quite matter, as long as they smashes the air molecules extremely rapidly. This creates a smashing momentum on each side of the blades, effectively smashing air molecules upon each other. This can be extrapolated by adding more pairs of this smashers in a circular manner. When air molecules got hit all over a dome, they exert a force upon the dome structure, most prominently on the sides of the dome, creating lift upon whatever spacecraft control chamber is built below the dome. A funnel into the dome is needed so that denser air below will push upwards. Which is why most UFOs you have seen has a dome structure on top it. This simply works like a heated hot air balloon, where air molecules inside the balloon is heated and therefore causes those air molecules to move around and spread out, and the air inside the balloon become less dense. However, the heated air molecules inside a balloon has a higher pressure upon the balloon compared to the colder air outside, effectively pushing the balloon upwards.

b. Slow Air Molecules Compressor

This is related to the dome chamber of the UFOs I mentioned above. A slow air molecules compressor slowly compresses air molecules in an upward manner increasing air pressure in the dome chamber. According to Boyle's Law, decreasing volume increases collisions and increases pressure.

c. Navigational Rocket Thruster

This is simply for changing the movement of the UFO. Left, right, forward, backward, any direction! Just use a jet thruster bursting some air molecules to change the direction. How simple! This probably requires a complementary control pad on board.

Design 2

a. Atomic Collider + Slow Air Molecules Compressor + Navigational Rocket Thruster

In this conceptual UFO, an atomic collider is used to propel the atoms of air so that they also move about, spread out and begin exerting pressure on the dome structure above. This is just a better way of doing the smashing of air molecules design above.

All in all, it feels like a more advanced version of hot air balloon after all. It just that instead of using heating, we find another way of making air molecules fly everywhere in a dome, just like the dome structure a balloon would have. Upon reaching outer space, which is filled with just vacuum, we surely doesn't have air molecules to smash. But, we can use rocket propulsion thruster instead. Newton's Third Law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, the spacecraft's expelling burning fuel produces an equal amount of thrust in the opposite direction. This thrust will act on the spacecraft and propel it to our next home world!

That's all for this story for my anti-gravity fantasies. Leave a comment, like, tip me, or subscribe to me! Thanks.
