Pictures may not be all that matter when it comes to getting a sugar baby’s attention online, but they probably count for a lot more than you think. And the right pictures aren’t just about letting women know whether you’re a looker, either.

The pictures you choose for your dating profiles say a lot about you, so you want to make sure they’re saying the right things. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when choosing photos so that all the right sugar babies notice you.

What to Include in a Profile Photo

Whether you stick to your favorite sugaring platform when it comes to finding your dates or occasionally like to visit other popular options like Tinder for a change of pace, you really only have seconds to make a positive first impression.

Your main profile picture is what you’re counting on to make that impression and inspire a sugar baby to learn more about you. Here are some tips for taking and choosing photos that get you all the right results.

  • Dress the part: Women absolutely love a sharp-dressed man, especially when they’re looking to meet a wonderful new sugar daddy, so make sure you include at least one photo where you’re dressed exceptionally well – preferably in a suit or snappy uniform.
  • Give a clear shot of your face: Every man knows what it’s like to spot a super cute potential sugar baby on a favorite dating platform only to have to pass her by because all of her pictures show her wearing huge sunglasses or otherwise hiding her face. Women feel the same way when men don’t clearly show their faces, so ensure you don’t make the same mistake.
    • Include scenic backgrounds: Most sugar babies love to travel and spend time in beautiful places, and a profile pic or two that show you hanging out at some wonderful location will definitely make a strong positive impression. The beach, the countryside, and exotic locales all work.
  • Tastefully show off: If you’re in incredible shape, especially if you’re in great shape for your age, it’s not a bad idea to show that off a little. But it’s important to do it tastefully. Headless torso shots in the bathroom mirror can be a turn-off, but a candid shot of you hanging out shirtless on the beach while on vacation can hit all the right notes.

What Not to Include in a Profile Photo

If you’ve been engaging like crazy on your platform of choice and still aren’t getting any nibbles worth exploring further, you might want to err on the side of caution and make sure none of your pics are potentially turning women off. Here are some common errors to watch out for.

  • You have too many group shots: Lots of singles love to include group shots on their dating profiles, as they feel it paints them as social, friendly, well-liked individuals, and they’re not necessarily wrong. But it can be hard to tell which of the many people in a group photo is actually you, so many won’t even try.
  • You’re posing with a dead animal: We get it. You love to hunt or fish, and you’re super proud of the time you scored a really big win out there. But what seems impressive to you, or your friends may not scan the same to a sugar baby. Any way you slice it, you’re still forcing her to look at the corpse of a dead animal.
  • There are attractive women in the picture: It doesn’t matter if the hot chick in your favorite photo of yourself is your sister, your daughter, or someone who really is just a friend. A sugar baby who’s thinking of making you her next sugar daddy doesn’t want to see you posing with other women.
  • You overdo the mirror shots: Mirror shots may be easy, trendy ways to show off your physique and sense of style, but they’re a little played out if you’re looking to land a high-value sugar baby who has lots of other options. Mirror shots can also give the impression that you’re vain or otherwise not as emotionally mature as you should be.

You don’t necessarily need to upload the maximum allowable number of photos your favorite dating profiles allow, but you should upload a variety of shots. Include some that are clear shots of your face, as well as a couple of full body shots that show your physique and sense of style. Then sprinkle a couple of options in there that show women a bit of what you’re interested in and like to do with your time.

Attracting the type of sugar babies, you want to date isn’t rocket science. But it does take a little attention to detail and some forethought.
