Macy pulled up into her driveway thankful to be home, even more grateful that it was Friday. It was a cool summer evening and as Macy walked up to her porch she thought to herself it would be great to unwind with a cold beer out there. She went in and changed out of her work clothes, grabbed a beer from the fridge and sat out on her porch contemplating the past couple of weeks and her decision to accept this new job which uprooted her from everything she knew and was used to. Three years after graduating from university with a Bachelor's degree and massive student loan debt, Macy still was unable to find gainful employment (at least not the kind of employment that left her feeling fulfilled spiritually), not in her field of study or in anything at all that was similar. She had failed to launch a career and felt stuck in these dead-end jobs which she was forced to work in order to pay the bills and keep food on the table. Macy looked around at her peers and most of them were doing fairly well in the launching of the careers department and she looked back at herself wondering where she went wrong or what step did she miss. It seems like there was no opportunity left for her and the stagnancy was starting to suffocate her. Moving from job to job barely able to hold on to anything due to the fact that she was perpetually drained physically and mentally because none of these jobs aligned with her spiritually or spoke to her passions or purpose in life. The lack of ability to express herself creatively and authentically was causing bouts of depression and anxiety and had started to affect her social life as she had begun isolating herself due to her feeling like a failure in light of her friends and other peers. She could no longer bear the social gatherings where everyone talked about how great their career was going and how much they were enjoying life, steady finances etc. while she was still stuck in the exact same place she was possibly even worse (financially) prior to attending university. Macy had been contemplating moving for a while now as she was starting to feel like there was nothing left for her in this city, no opportunities, no growth, no happiness. Maybe what she needed was a fresh start and a new city possibly even a new province, but where? How do you begin? How do you decide? Macy had lived in Toronto her entire life and though she had moved around quite a bit she had never really left Ontario and the more she thought about it the more chicken she got. Cold feet had left her captive as she could not fathom leaving all her family and friends to start life all over again on her own and so she stalled and made excuses and carried on with her dreary life living from pay cheque to pay cheque, working her dead-end jobs. Occasionally while sending out job applications she would browse job listings for other cities and provinces and send out applications as well, it had been over six months since she had even looked up job listings from other provinces so when this call came it caught Macy completely off guard but there was no doubt as to what the answer was going to be. So here she was, three weeks later, sitting on this porch... It was in the middle of these thoughts that she saw her, the most gorgeous female she'd yet to lay her eyes on. Against the backlight of the setting sun, she looked absolutely divine with her flawless almond skin, dark hair, perfect breasts, tiny little waist just the way Macy liked it, and a nice ass. She was wearing shorts which gave Macy full view of her flawless shapely legs (Macy drooled). This move was turning out to be good after all she thought to herself as it now became her mission to find out who this fine piece of ass who lived across from her was.
