How Do Women Really Feel About Quiet Men?

If you’ve always been a strong, silent type, then you don’t need to be told that not everyone in the world necessarily appreciates a quiet man to the extent they probably should.

If you’ve always been a strong, silent type, then you don’t need to be told that not everyone in the world necessarily appreciates a quiet man to the extent they probably should. People – including women – tend to associate many winning traits like success, strength, and social astuteness with extroverted, talkative types who don’t have a quiet bone in their bodies.

But how true is that, really? Do the best, most beautiful sugar babies ever go for quieter guys, or are they all bent on winding up with the big talkers out there? Actually, yes. More women than you think are not only willing to date quiet sugar daddies but prefer them. Here are a few of the most important reasons why.

They exude quiet intelligence

Although social norms and stereotypes may indeed mean women instinctively associate qualities like charisma and social ability with more extroverted personalities, the opposite is true with intelligence. Top-tier sugar babies want to be with a smart sugar daddy who knows what he’s doing and can hold up his end of an intelligent conversation.

Quieter daddies give that impression much more readily and naturally than their more talkative counterparts do. Women also perceive quiet men as more likely to be self-aware, emotionally mature, and good at listening to other people.

They have an air of mystery

A quiet sugar daddy – especially one who’s handsome, super successful, or has other desirable qualities going for him – has a way of leaving a sugar baby wanting more in all the right ways. She’s left thinking about him long after they’ve parted ways for the evening, and she can’t help but wonder what else is happening inside his head.

A guy who’s always talking (or even bragging) about himself doesn’t have this advantage. Sure, a more extroverted guy might be more of an open book, but that’s not necessarily what every woman wants. Some really would rather be with someone who leaves a little something to the imagination now and then.

They’re less likely to misspeak

The more a particular guy talks, especially when interacting with a woman he doesn’t know, the more chances he gives himself to put his foot right in his own mouth. Even great conversationalists sometimes get carried away if they’re also hugely extroverted, but a quieter, more introverted guy is so much less likely to make that mistake.

Quiet guys aren’t just less likely to say the wrong thing, either. The fact that they give more thought to what they say in general makes them more likely to say the right thing, as well. They listen to others, and they think carefully about what they want to say before they say it. For this reason and many others, many stand a better chance of winning a high-value sugar baby over.

They’re much less arrogant

There’s a gulf of difference between confidence and arrogance, as any woman who’s had a bad dating experience or two can attest to. Sugar babies love confidence, but they loathe arrogance and won’t suffer a man who displays it, so it’s crucial to know which one of those you possess.

Louder, more boisterous men are a lot more likely to be arrogant. Arrogant men brag about themselves and get in other people’s faces, thinking they’re being impressive. Quietly confident men, on the other hand, know there’s no need to act that way. They know that genuine confidence speaks for itself and doesn’t need to be announced.

They’re less likely to overdo it

Although extroverts do have their advantages in life, discretion isn’t always one of them. If they’re not careful, they can really overdo it – especially when they’re trying to impress a woman – and no woman actually likes that.

On the other hand, a quiet, thoughtful sugar daddy knows when to mind his own business and when it’s a better time to step out and speak up. Many quiet guys come across as attractive, desirable, and worth knowing without even having to say a word – a real perk when it comes to impressing the ladies.

What about the disadvantages of being quiet?

Like most things in life, there’s definitely a downside to being a quieter guy. Some quiet sugar daddies struggle more with social signals and with going out on a limb when it comes to approaching women. And they’re at a numbers disadvantage, as well, as most guys tend to err on the side of extroversion.

But like everything else in life, a quiet demeanor is what you make of it. As you can see, there are distinct advantages to being more introverted, and the type of sugar baby who loves a quiet guy is all about them. So just be yourself, understand your weaknesses, and play to your strengths. Sooner or later, it will work out in your favor.
