Jackson waited in the line of people waiting to get their credentials checked. The building they were gaining access to was the NSA.This was one of the most secure places in the US.It had come to Jackson's attention that the US had come into possession of a powerful magic artifact.Something that shouldn't be in inexperienced hands. So he was here to steal it.He was supposed to take it without drawing attention to himself. However things don't always go as planned.

Finally Jackson reached the front of the line. The man checking credentials sat behind a desk.He donned a black suit.He also had a small badge on his shirt,Jackson also noticed the gun on his hip. This had to be handled delicately.

"License please" the man asked with authority in voice.

I don't really have that on me right now.Maybe you could let slide.Just this once." Jackson offered.

"Step out of the line, sir" The man said without looking up from his computer

"No you don't understand I need to get in there. There is something I have to steal." Jackson said pointing at the building

Jackson realized what he said as soon as it slipped out.

"I mean borrow," he said, trying to fix his mistake.

The man behind the desk stood up.Jackson could tell that this was about to go downhill.

"This is your last chance!Step out of the line." He had his hand on his sidearm.

Jackson let out a long sigh.He realized that he was going to have to draw attention to himself. He looked around the desk in front of him and noticed a full water bottle. He pointed at the bottle.

"That bottle is badly placed" he said drawing the man attention to the water

He reached out a grabbed the water bottle around the top.As soon as he touched it the water in the bottle began to freeze. The man behind the desk was in awe.He was so amazed the he didn't even see the frozen water bottle come down onto his head. When it made contact there was a loud crack and his eyes went blank. Then he suddenly feel backward on the floor.

Jackson put the bottle on the desk.He turned around to go locate the artifact and found himself face to face with 13 gunmen. He put his hands in the air.

Jackson looked at the palm of his right hand.He read what was written there with a pen.

"Does anyone know where sub level b?" Jackson asked the group of guards.

The guards didn't respond. They stood firm .Jackson knew he wasn't going to get past them without a fight.

Jackson began waving his hands in the air,as if he were a conductor in an orchestra. As he did that music began to ring out in the room. The gunmen looked around trying to locate the source of the noise.

"Now,let's get started" Jackson declared

Electricity started running through his hands. The current produced brilliant green light.Jackson watched as the electricity arced between his fingers.A slight smirk started to cross his face.

He charged at the group of gunmen. We he reached the first, he gently touch the center of his forehead and the guard passed out. This was a very simple technique that sent a small amount of electricity through the brain incapacitating the target. It does affect the targets memory

Jackson continued his assault. He danced around the room gracefully.Keeping pace with the music that played throughout the room.He dodged bullets and batons with ease.

He continued to dance until there was one guard left. They both made eye contact. Jackson blitzed him with incredible speed. He grabbed the guard by the neck and slammed him against the wall.Jackson looked him directly in his eyes.Smiling ear to ear.

"Do you know where sub level b is?" Jackson asked

"Down the hall. The elevator is on the left.

"Thank you for the directions"

Jackson looked around the room at all the guards on the floor. He looked back at the guard he still had in his grip

"This is the NSA,right?"

His captive nodded his head yes.

"So this is the best an United States has to offer? Jackson asked, staring at the man.

"I mean look at you!You gave up the information with no hesitation.I didn't even have to torture you. What do you have to say for yourself!" Jackson lectured

"Never mind, don't answer that."

Jackson let the electricity run through his hand again. He could the panic in the man's eyes.Just before he finished the guard he offered a kind and sincere

"Don't worry,you won't feel a thing."

He then touched his forehead and watched his eyes roll back.Jackson dropped him and turned back towards the room and took a bow.The music that had been playing stopped. Then there was a clapping audience, even though everyone there was unconscious. Jackson turned around and headed towards the elevator.

After getting off the elevator Jackson walked down a long narrow hallway. While walking down the hallway he noticed several different paintings decorating the white walls.Jackson hated paintings. He always felt as if they were watching him.In a world of magic ,something is always watching.

At the end of the hallway Jackson entered a big room. There was nothing noticeable about the room, other than the display case directly in the middle.Jackson walked across the room and laid his eyes on the relic inside.

Inside the case sat Thor's Hammer. The hammer had a worn handle, from the eons of battles it had been through. However the head of the hammer still looked like it had just been forged. Not a single scratch was visible. While Jackson had seen many relics they were always breath taking. While in awe Jackson heard a voice behind him.

"I'm guessing all that noise upstairs was you?"

Jackson turned and looked at the man behind him.He had on black jeans and a red shirt. He also wore a pair of sunglasses, making it impossible to see his eyes.

"I cannot confirm nor deny". Jackson answered not knowing who this man was or what he was capable of.

Jackson slowly started making his way to the opposite side of the room. Now, the hammer was the only thing between them.

"Who are you" asked Jackson

"That's not your concern" the man shot back "However, I do know who you are" the man continued

Jackson Wall, self-proclaimed "Champion of The Gods.Wanted by the Collective for:reckless use of magic, assault with magic, theft of relics and artifacts, and treason against the collective.

With that information Jackson knew exactly who he was dealing with. The Collective is an organization that regulates the use of magic throughout the world. He was once a member of the group. But in the end their interest was not in line.Jackson accepted the gods. The Collective did not.

"Wait, you're from the collective? How did you get down here."

"The Collective has many allies in the US government."

"Really?Do you know how many people just had their brains hot-wired?Most of them won't even remember where they live."

"Your gods fail you on even the smallest of matters." the said the man

"The gods have never failed me" said Jackson with confidence

"What would you call it then"

"When you live for eons two things can happen:you can grow paranoid or complacent. My gods chose the latter."

"I could care less about your ideologies. All I care about is turning you over to the Collective"

"I can't let you do that" as Jackson spoke ,smoke came from his nose and mouth.

There was a brief quiet. Then Jackson opened his mouth and spewed red hot flames at the man. This was a spell that allowed you to take the oxygen in your lungs and transform it into fire. The only downfall is :it hurts like hell.

The gentleman extended his had out and when the flame hit him it was turned into a harmless mist.Out of that same hand,he sent out an electric bolt toward Jackson

Jackson attempted to replicate what his foe did to his fire spell. As soon as he absorbed the bolt he felt instant pain. Absorbing magic that isn't yours is like a blood transfusion. If it's not compatible things go wrong.

Jackson tried to fight through the pain but failed. With a desperate attempt to fight back he shot the spell back at his enemy. With no effort at all the man defected the attack and laughed out loud.

"Once again your gods fail you."

A wave of anger washed over Jackson as he looked up at the man laughing. He knew that he wasn't going to be able to beat him.He was completely out classed .Then he looked behind his foe and saw the hammer. The hammer was his only chance. He reached his hand out and willed the hammer to him.

At first it didn't move. The small bolts of electricity began to show on its surface. The hammer then smashed the display case and flew for Jackson's hand.During its flight it struck the man's shoulder and he howled out in pain.

"The Collective failed you" said Jackson his voice filled with spite

He pointed the hammer at his downed enemy and with a flash of green light,a neon green light bolt struck him in the chest. It knocked him back and he hit the floor hard. The battle was over. Relief washed over Jackson.

Jackson's victory was short lived when he suddenly heard boots coming down the hallway. He was just turning to leave when they blocked his exit.He noticed that these were the guards from upstairs.

"Quick, this man needs medical attention! " Jackson exclaimed with urgency

No one moved an inch.Jackson decided to try a different strategy. One that didn't require a huge battle.

Does anyone know where they live

A wave of confusion ran through the group of guards. No one could recall their address.Once the chaos died down the guards went to point their guns at Jackson. But to their surprise he was gone. And so was Thor's hammer.
