Onward with the story:

The book was filled with words, written in cursive, presumably with feather and quill. The pages were musty and covered in dirt from age. Aghat blew the dirt off and began reading, "There was a time when people used magic to help with everyday life. Things were way easier back then. Soon, people started using magic for their own greedy purposes. Taking over the planet, gaining money, and so on. One famous example you might have heard about was Omega Sever. Using dark magic, he took over the planet and forced everyone to bow down to him. Anyone who stood in his way were banished or destroyed. His dark magic held true and no one could stop him, until the relics of the gods arrived. The gods gave the relics to people who were worthy enough to wield them. The relics were also enchanted so that the worthy people are unable to use them selfishly. Using the five relics cast down, Omega Sever was sealed away. If you found this book, it means you have the most adventurous soul. The woods were enchanted so that no one except the people most worthy will find it. Since you are reading this, you are one of them. We entrust you with one of the relics. But, beware as the darkness is rising. Don't let it consume the world once more.

Farewell,

The First Light Bringer Society."

Aghat stared at the book in disbelief. He was the one that was worthy? No, this could not be true. But, why else was he still alive?

Following the books instructions, he ripped it in two. Then, the strangest thing happened. The ripped book vaporized into golden dust and started arranging itself in the form of a sword. After, the structure finished, it was radiating the color of gold. Aghat picked it up, and a voice spoke in his head.

"Don't let it get to you. You won't be able to use this for selfish purposes. Gather forces, as the dark will rise soon."

Hastily, he sprinted out of the woods. The forces of darkness were already here. He overheard a conversation of a kingdom called the Dark Empire that was rising. He hurried into the library.

"Do you have books on the Dark Empire?" he asked the librarian. The librarian pointed at a section with books that were coated in black. He rushed over. Aghat looked through all the books on the shelves. "The rise and fall of the Dark Empire," one of the titles read. He snatched it off the bookshelf with such energy that dust filled the air that was previously on the book. He noticed that it was an updating book, which updates as time goes on. "This ought to give me some answers," Aghat said, opening to the first page.

"An intro of the Dark Empire. The Dark Empire is not just one empire, but many. Each time a tyrant rises and labels their kingdom as the Dark Empire. These people used to ravage the lands of poor people. They wanted to rule the world. The people once almost fell to their rule. At the head was Omega Sever. Since then, all heads of the Dark Empire called themselves Omega Sever in regards to the most powerful one of them all. A myth stated that there were relics that could seal the darkness, but if they were real, they have been lost to time. The myth also stated that if all relics were brought together, they could end darkness forever. This could have happened long ago if this was all real, as one of the people wielding the relics succumbed to Omega Sever's power and the other relics only sealed the darkness temporarily. As long as the seal is not permanent, darkness will always try to ravage our lands. UPDATE: The rumors have been confirmed. The Dark Empire is rising once again."

So it was true, the darkness was rising again.
