It was a dark and stormy night in the small town of Ravenswood. The wind was howling and the rain was pelting against the windows of the old Victorian mansion. Inside, a group of friends had gathered for a weekend of fun and games. Little did they know, they were about to experience something far more terrifying than they could ever imagine.

The group consisted of five friends: John, the jock; Sarah, the bookworm; Mike, the comedian; Amy, the artist; and Tom, the thrill-seeker. They had all met in college and had remained close ever since. They were all excited to spend the weekend in the old mansion, which was rumored to be haunted.

As they sat around the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate and playing board games, they began to hear strange noises coming from upstairs. At first, they thought it was just the wind, but the noises grew louder and more distinct. John, being the brave one, suggested they investigate.

As they made their way up the creaky stairs, the hairs on the back of their necks stood on end. They reached the top of the stairs and saw a door at the end of the hall. It was slightly ajar, and they could hear what sounded like scratching and shuffling coming from inside.

Sarah, the bookworm, suggested they go back downstairs and wait until morning, but Tom, the thrill-seeker, was already pushing the door open. As he did, they were hit with a putrid smell that made them gag. Inside the room, they saw a figure hunched over a pile of bones.

Mike, the comedian, let out a nervous laugh and said, "I guess we found the haunted part of the house." But as they looked closer, they saw that the figure was not a ghost, but a living, breathing person.

The person turned to face them, and they could see that it was a woman, dressed in rags, with wild hair and a crazed look in her eyes. She screamed at them, "Get out! This is my home!" and lunged at them with a knife.

The group scattered, running down the stairs and out the front door. They huddled together outside, trying to catch their breath and make sense of what had just happened. Suddenly, they heard the sound of hooves approaching.

They looked up to see a horse-drawn carriage pulling up to the mansion. The driver, a tall, gaunt man, stepped down and approached them. "I see you've met our resident ghost," he said with a grin.

The group was confused. "But we saw a living person up there," said Amy, the artist.

The driver chuckled. "Oh, you must mean Old Hattie. She's been living in that room for years. She's harmless, really. Just a bit eccentric."

The group was relieved but still on edge. The driver offered to take them on a tour of the town and show them the sights. They agreed, thinking it might be a good distraction from the events of the night.

As they rode through the town, they saw that it was filled with strange and unusual characters. There was a man with a third arm, a woman with eyes in the back of her head, and a child with a tail. The group was fascinated and a little unnerved.

The driver took them to a carnival that was in town for the weekend. They walked around, trying their hand at the games and sampling the food. But as they were about to leave, they saw something that made their blood run cold.

There was a sideshow attraction called "The Demon Baby." They could hear the sound of a baby crying and a voiceover promising that those who entered would see the most terrifying creature on earth
