Chapter Three

The trail was hot, as she did her morning jog upon the indigo. A small trail through and around the city. It had been a week since he had went behind bars. Now look at what all she got accomplished. It was still a scary feel him disappearing like that. An almost stand-up she would never forget. While fear braced her for the worst she thought of hiking on forever, but she would have to get to work. She was comfy in her pink top and gray jogging pants as she finished up.

"Hey, what all are you up to today?" She asked Sarah on the phone.

"Nothing sitting back talking to my fan." Sarah replied "What can we do? I'm to bored this round."

"I've been hitting the trials back and fourth, but don't know if its exciting?" She said back.

"Yeah, let's, we might be able to find something to do out there." Sarah sighed.

"Some big iguanas, maybe." Ashley laughed.

The trails and side walks were full of them in a day-to-day basis. she thought mostly of pets. It was hot , but tropical in away. They loved it out there. The place was full by the lot of them. They were awaiting Independence Day. Ashley had no clue what to do?

"Hey, Sarah what all we gotta do on the fourth?" Ashley asked.

" I got no plans!" She replied "How about you?" Sarah asked.

"The town circle is having fireworks?" She looked as they were walking.

"Oh yeah!" she laughed.

It was almost night time she went to go up in the area where they did them to see what they looked like. The fireworks were almost lined up in the stage ready to set them off. It was early enough to get ready. She was hoping to find something for her and Sarah to do in the meantime. Lunch was over, there was a volunteer group ready they went and signed up.

"It's animals." Ashley said.

"There pretty nice, too." Sarah replied.

The group was an adoption center as they needed help walking them. The track was easy to go through. The test wasn't to bad. Definitely not as bad as they say. It got more funny by the minute as they tried to figure out the way the washer went. The turbo three milometer, that could easily wash in under thirty minutes.

"How do you turn this thing on?" Sarah asked as she looked.

"It doesn't mater lets be good and ask the Trainor?" Ashley said

"No, she keeps giving me this look at the end of every sentence." Sarah Cried " It looks like, "go please."

"Let's hurry." Ashley barked.

A buzz came from the machine it sounded as if it shorted out. They laughed for a little. It had came back on. There tears of sadness didn't quit. It was a minute. They were able to start washing the dogs. Ashley started to feel sad about the things of the event. The almost stand-up to the jail incident.

"You think he got out?" Ashley looked.

Sarah said "Kindly and in all honesty, I don't know."

"Okay." Ashley replied.

"You think we broke it." She said.

"Are they coming out clean?" Ashley had Looked.

"After this one, I say "We escape." Sarah said panicked in the event.

"Completely." Ashley agreed " Let's run."

"Happy Fourth." Sarah said as they waved bye.

They sat slumped on the bus as she noticed him standing outside of the bar. A good feelin had hit her he was alone in this and smoking. It was time to head home and finish watching the fireworks.
