On with the story:

Mice crawled about as some of the Imperial Guards locked Aghat, Paramesh, and Colleta in the dungeons. They threw each of them inside one by one.

"Dinner will be served in a few minutes," one of the guards gruffly said. A mouse crawled up Paramesh's leg and he shrieked.

"I bet the dinner will be really bad," he stated. "I also really want to get out of here! And the guard was not even human!" Another mouse gnawed on Paramesh's leg. He screamed and threw it into the wall. Colleta laughed. She took out her relic and said some words into it. The mice looked at her and scurried off.

"What did you do?" Aghat asked.

"Oh, my relic allows me to talk to animals, so I asked them to bring the key to our dungeons. The mice said that they would, so we are saved!" Colleta exclaimed.

"Wait, didn't the emperor take all of our relics?" Paramesh asked.

"Yeah, I foresaw this and made a fake copy of my relic. Then, I gave it to the emperor," Colleta exclaimed happily.

Just then, a group of mice skittered in carrying three rusty keys. One of the mice squeaked. "The mice are saying that they are scared of freeing Paramesh because he killed one of them," Colleta stated.

Paramesh looked up guiltily. "I'm sorry," he muttered. Colleta said something to the mice. The mice gave the keys to everyone.

"HEY! WHERE ARE MY KEYS?" one of the guards shouted. "THEY ARE GONE!"

"I don't know," the other guard responded. "You know about the mice infestation."

"Probably right, but I think we should check on them," the first guard exclaimed.

"We have to go!" Aghat whispered. "Quickly!"

Everyone unlocked the gates and ran as fast as they could down the dungeon. Once again, Colleta said something in her horn. The mice squeaked and ran off.

"THERE IS A MOUSE ON MY FACE!" the first guard shrieked.

"MILLIONS OF MICE ARE GNAWING ON MY LEGS!" the other guard freaked out. Colleta laughed loudly, and Aghat put his hand over her mouth.

"Silently," he muttered.

"Right, sorry," Colleta whispered.

Just then, the wall erupted with light. A big hole was in one of the walls. "Hi! You are the people with the relics, right?" One of the people standing in front of them asked.

Aghat opened his mouth, but then the other person started talking. "They must be the people with the relics, but only one of them has it. The others don't."

"Then where are your relics?" the first person asked.

"The emperor stole them," Paramesh replied.

"Let's get them back!" the other person exclaimed. "By the way, I'm Millie and this is Pax!"

"Hi," Pax exclaimed. "We have a spaceship, we can crash the emperor's party if you want. And I mean that literally."

A few minutes later, a spaceship came crashing through the castle walls, right into the emperor's disco party.

"Okay, I meant that about crashing into the emperor's castle, but not actually crashing into a party," Pax laughed.

"IMBECILES! THAT WAS MY BIRTHDAY PARTY!" the emperor shouted. Pax and Millie stepped out of their spacecraft and used their relics. Pax used a deconstruction relic and Millie used an elemental relic. Soon enough, the emperor and all his friends lay unconscious on the floor.

"Well, that was easy!" Pax exclaimed. "Now let's go get your relics!"

Soon enough, the relics were found in the museum room. They smashed the glass boxes around the relics and retrieved them. "Well, well, well!" a voice said from behind them. "Crashing into my birthday party and also breaking into my museum room!"

Everyone turned around and saw the emperor levitating a few feet away from them. A purple staff appeared at his side. "Now you get a punishment!"

Just before Pax could use the deconstruction relic, the emperor flicked his staff and everyone went flying out of the castle.
