That night, Owen was out drinking with friends, and it wasn't until after 10 p.m. that he returned to his home on the fifth floor of the apartment drunkenly. As soon as he entered the door, he was taken aback to see his wife Barbara and a handsome guy sitting on the living room sofa cuddling with each other.

When the handsome guy saw Owen, he actually raised his hand and greeted: "You came back so late, you went to drink again!"

Owen staggered over and said loudly, "Who are you? Why did you come to my house? What's your business with me drinking?"

The handsome man hugged his chest and turned his head to say, "I'm a member of this family, of course it's none of my business if you drink. If you come back late in the future, don't enter this house."

Owen thought these words sounded familiar, and he couldn't help but look at Barbara, his wife next to the handsome guy, only to see her lips closed and her face indifferent. Owen suddenly woke up, blaming himself for drinking too much. Barbara is an actor in the puppet troupe. The so-called handsome guy is actually a life-size puppet. Barbara is manipulating the puppet at this time, using ventriloquism to talk to herself. Woolen cloth!

"Hee hee!" Owen sneered, "I, I made a mistake..." Barbara said contemptuously: "Drinking so much wine, can you make a mistake? I'll say it one last time, if you get drunk in the future, don't enter this house."

  Owen argued: "I'm not drunk..."

Barbara stood up and said, "You can talk to the puppet, and you're not drunk yet? Anyway, I'll lock the door after 9 o'clock at night."

  "How dare you..."

  "I dare..."

The two quarreled as they spoke. At that moment, Owen was completely overwhelmed by alcohol, and he couldn't remember what happened after that. When he regained consciousness, he realized that he was lying on top of Barbara with his hands around her throat. He was startled, quickly let go, and looked at Barbara again, his eyes wide open, his mouth wide open, and he was out of breath.

A cold sweat broke out on Owen's head in an instant, and he strangled his wife to death in a state of drunkenness! In an instant, he was fully awake. He called his wife's name in panic and slapped her on the cheek, but Barbara had no response. Owen raised his head sharply and was startled again. It turned out that the curtains in the living room were not drawn, and a woman on the sixth floor of the apartment opposite was looking at her home. The woman saw Owen found herself and hurriedly retracted.

Owen hurried to the window and drew the curtains with a "wow" sound. He walked back and forth in the living room irritably. He didn't know if the woman opposite saw the scene of his strangling his wife and would call the police. If he called the police, it was only a matter of time before the police visited the room.

Before the police come, they must find a way to deal with the body. At this moment, Owen did not feel the slightest sense of guilt, but felt that he was a victim of accidentally doing something wrong.

There are people walking around downstairs, and it is unrealistic to move the body outside now. The only way is to hide the body first, and then try to transport it out after one or two in the middle of the night. Suddenly, Owen saw the puppet on the sofa. He felt that the puppet seemed to be laughing at him, so he walked over and grabbed the puppet and turned his head.

"Where to hide the body?" Owen walked around the rooms and finally chose the location on the balcony of the bedroom. There was a pile of debris in the corner of the balcony. He sorted out an empty space, carried the body there, and covered it with debris, so that there was no clue from the outside.

After all this, Owen went to the bathroom to wash his face. As soon as he came out of the bathroom, the doorbell rang. Owen opened the door, and two police officers stood outside. These two police officers often patrol the area. Owen knew each other, the old one was called Hans and the young one was called Tom.

Hans nodded at Owen and said, "Good evening, sir. I just received a call from the police that someone in your family was arguing and fighting, which seriously affected the rest of the neighbors. Is there such a thing?"

Owen pretended to be indifferent and nodded, saying, "I'm sorry, I disturbed others."

Hans glanced into the room and asked, "Is your wife at home? Let's go in and have a look."

Owen looked impatient and said, "There's no need! After arguing, she ran out the door, and I don't know where she went."

Hans stepped through the door and said, "I'm sorry, the police said you beat your wife, domestic violence is illegal."

Owen reluctantly moved away. The two police officers walked into the living room. Hans saw the puppet on the sofa and asked, "What is that?"

  "Puppet."

Hans nodded, looked at the living room, and asked, "Did your wife really run away?"

Owen said with certainty: "She really ran away, I don't know where she went."

Hans shook his head and said, "You beat her away! You are a typical domestic violence, your wife can sue you in court."

Owen pretended to be guilty and lowered his head. Suddenly, there was a strange "whine" sound from the room, as if moaning.

Owen was stupid. Although he couldn't determine the location of the voice, the voice was indeed in this room. The voice was vague, as if the throat was strangled, and Hans and Tom also listened calmly. Owen said tremblingly: "It's the voice on the TV next door."
