Hopeful Love

Lying in his bed, George had nothing to. He decided to watch his favorite series, "Adventurous Ride". Seeing his favorite character Senden with his girlfriend Lily, George thought of his ex-girlfriend and him and how their relationship was so dull and lame compared to the series'.

After a while George thought, this is the reason this relationship is in the show, because this level of relationship is not possible in real life. The more he tried to deny it, the stronger the feelings for his ex-girlfriend would become. He finally decided not to disregard his feelings and texted Jelly. Jelly and George were 2 years ago, they didn’t have a real break up, but Jelly lost interest in George and he got tired trying to bring it back.

They would not talk very often and just pretended like nothing ever happened, but still a small ray of awkwardness in their conversations. George used to have occasional stirrings on Jelly but would keep it inside him. But now, George had decided not too and was thinking way too much and ahead, imaginary scenarios with Jelly in his head like back flipping to save her when she put her life in risk to save him.

He approached Jelly and texted some few words of cool greetings, Jelly got the slight feeling of George's emotions but texted he back in a jolly way thinking George was casual. Every night after dinner they would text, their conversations were on the verge of being near to romantic. George thought it was almost sure that he and Jelly were together. Jelly on the other hand was just beginning to deny her feelings for George. George felt anxious about the fact that he always used to start their conversations but thought it was a small thing for true love.

One late night at 11 pm, George and Jelly were talking about Jelly's younger sister. And as the conversation progressed Jelly stated that her sister loved her but she didn't. George got petrified at that , and all his feelings of love cracked down to an empty void , he had never felt so emotion less for someone before , he continued the conversation coldly and bid her good night. George had a few tears, not because he didn't love her anymore but because he had to face disappointment and dismay in love. He wasn't sure if Jelly was telling the truth but was clear that Jelly had no romantic interests in him. Spending the remainder of time before he fell asleep was really hard for him, but he had to live with it.

Being 15 was a cool thing in George's mind the next morning, he told himself he had to move on and live his life. That night he was on his laptop, generally a phone would be more convenient on bed. He saw Becky online, and two boys were online from his school group as well on another texting platform.

George decided to not to text them right now and focused towards Becky. When he was with Jelly those years ago, he used to have lunch with Becky because of the fixed table partners at the cafeteria of his school. Even she used to watch ' Adventurous Ride', the show was long gone, but the next season was anticipated. He and Becky used to talk mostly about the series at lunch, and the Midge academy hadn't been too romantic for him, rethinking his time with Becky, George was again thinking too far ahead and was again creating scenarios in his head, of kissing Becky. He thought he could now forgive Jelly because he had now experienced that with a new one, you almost forget the feelings of your older relationships. During their breakups Jelly would tell him of her new boyfriend also named George and the boys were joking a few days back about Jelly and Ben having a duo profile picture.

He talked with Becky about the series, telling her how Senden should have hurt his Uncle and Aunt and not acted like they had never done anything to them. Talking about the favorite series. George got an idea about asking her to re watch the series with him. Becky agreed in an instant. Though George right now was dead sure that Becky had no feelings towards him, 1427 episodes will surely have something developed and he couldn't wait to watch the romantic scenes with Becky.

Trying to make Becky think that he valued her opinions George asked her when they should begin watching. Becky liking to be completely free from all tasks as soon as possible decided it to be on Friday evening, the next day. Also she thought it was great because it was the weekend and they could watch almost 20 episodes through the whole night. Becky would feel her heart lightened after completing all the tasks in hand.

George now dreaming to the stars, went to sleep almost generating heat from excitement.
