"Get into the shower," he said to her in a low voice that sent grave chills down her spine, and she did so quietly without hesitation.

For the life of him, Oscar could not even fathom why he was this scared, to the point of almost having a breakdown, what if something had happened to her?

Deliah was just a girl who worked as a janitor in the office section of his hotel while doing everything possible to stay out of anyone's way. She was diligent in her job too but for reasons Oscar is yet to place, Deliah gets under his skin and she seems not to know it, or does she?

Oscar had arrived early at his office which was pretty unusual. He had been restless the night before, turning and tossing in his bed, having a lucid dream of a woman to who he barely said a word. When he couldn't take it anymore, he stood up and headed for a run, thirty minutes later, he was dressed up in denim and a sweatshirt and heading to the office. He checked his wristwatch and realized that it was barely 6 am but what else can he do, than bury himself in work as a distraction from all the craziness playing in his mind - this woman has taunted his dreams for so long, he had wanted to kiss her from the moment she walked into his office the first day to do her job.

Oscar sat in his chair, with his back against the door, staring blankly into the plain wall, lost in thoughts. The same thoughts he tried to escape from many times but to no avail, so, he sat there quietly, letting his mind wander and indulging in the possibility of bliss with Deliah for a moment. After all, there's no crime in having wanton thoughts, as long as it sticks to your head, he said to himself chuckling. But why couldn't he tell her how he feels, would it be so bad or was he really concerned about the huge gap in social status and what people would say? What's the worse that can happen if...

Oscar's thoughts were abruptly interrupted by the jerking of the door and he swung around swiftly only to meet the shocked expression on Deliah's face as she was not expecting to meet anyone in the office, and definitely not the boss himself.

"Good morning sir, I didn't think you'll be here so early. I can do the cleaning later. I'll just go and check back after working hours," she said.

Oscar was so lost in her beauty that he couldn't string his words together so he just nodded his head in the affirmative. As the door closed behind her, he said to himself loudly, 'get a grip, Oscar, you're losing it.'

Deliah had a hard time concentrating on her job the entire morning and heaved a huge sigh of relief as she was finally done and could leave the hotel building even though it was pouring heavily, maybe the rain would do her the honour of washing away the crazy thoughts in her head she said. She had done everything possible to stay out of Oscar's way for this very reason, his presence is overwhelming and she always wants to melt in his arms. How can one man be so fine and powerful, yet so unaware?

She gently walked into the rain, shivering as the first drop trickled down her skin and she let her body adjust to the feel of it. Lost in a world of her thoughts, she didn't see the car coming nor did she hear the blaring horn but was startled back to reality by the screeching tyres as the driver halted to a stop.

Oscar alighted from behind with dread in his eye and rushed to hold her as she was visibly shaking.

"Do you want to give me a heart attack?" he yelled at her before realizing she was already whimpering, he cupped her in his arms and carried her to the car, telling the driver to head home.

He gently put her down in the guestroom and asked her to get into the shower while he got her a change of clothes. As he left to get spare towels and a shirt, he kept asking himself what he thought he was doing.

Standing there with a towel in hand stretched towards Deliah while looking away, and in her attempt to snatch the towel from him, she slipped and landed right in his welcoming arms, and she had never felt any human so warm.

For what seemed like a forever moment, she stood there, frozen as he was, and he muttered under his breath, "I'll have to kiss you if you don't move Deliah, I'm warning you."

Deliah was too overwhelmed to speak, and all she could do was raise her head so she could look at him. His eyes were burning with desire and his breath was heavy on her. She tilted her neck a little more and whispered in a shaky voice, "you shouldn't warn, kiss me."

And that was all he needed to shred whatever self-control he had left as he planted a deep kiss on her already moist lips. He groaned deep in his throat and reached for her butt gently and waiting for any objections, when he didn't get any, he cupped her up in his arms and kissed her even more deeply - he has never tasted anything better.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked and she moaned in response while locking their embrace tighter.

Oscar laid her in his bed so gently like she was a fragile glass. Looked her in the eyes and said "I've been wanting to do this since the very first day I set my eyes on you Deliah, you've haunted my dreams and thoughts nonstop and today, you're here, in my bed, warm in my arms."
