An indelible impression

As an art teacher in Nanchang 28th Middle School and after I retired from this position, the voices and smiles of the two female teachers would often come to my eyes. Their noble charisma, gentle temperament and enterprising, knowledgeable learning have left a deep impression on my life path.

In the late 1990s, the head of the school's teaching and research team had the task of being on campus duty twice a semester on a rotating basis. However, after the students left, the class teacher, Ms. Chen Qiang Hua, was still inspecting the campus. When she sees any missed corners or places that are not up to standard, she will carefully remove and remedy them. From Monday to Friday, she did this every day, which made me very moved.

One day at the whole school staff meeting, the principal mentioned a middle-aged teacher with a strong sense of ownership. She was often seen bending down to pick up waste paper and branches in the hallways and on campus. Her habit of doing this for more than a decade is rare. The character and cultivation of a person can be seen in these trivial events. It was clear to everyone that the principal was praising Ms. Chen.

Fu Yu is an English teacher, her character is enthusiastic, lively, cheerful, work, teaching, subject competition, leading the class all outstanding. Her son was in the class I taught, and I didn't pay much attention to him at first because students in art classes generally don't pay much attention to them. However, this child was particularly attentive in class and completed his homework well, which caught my attention and I praised him several times. Since the English team office is next door to me, I often met the mother and son after the child left class, and the child would greet me politely when he saw me. Whenever she saw me, she would greet me politely. At this time, my mother would teach my child to cherish his teacher's hard work, to listen carefully, to finish his homework properly, and not to let down his teacher's care and training. The child was later admitted to a major city school, attended high school in Nanchang Second Middle School, and then went to college until he joined the workforce. Every Teacher's Day, this child will send me a text message to congratulate me, and the Spring Festival will also be online New Year's greeting, more than ten years never stop. Every time, I would feel affectionate and warm. The child's polite habits towards the teachers reflect good family education and the cultivation of a grateful mind.

After having a preliminary understanding of these two teachers, it is natural to pay a little more attention to them. With the further promotion of quality education, the school encourages teachers to interact with each other across disciplines. So I took the time to listen to Ms. Chen's math class and Ms. Fu Yu's English class, both of which were drop-in classes, and I was the only one who listened to them. When I finished these two spiritual meals alone, I could not forget them.

Ms. Fu's English classes are full of youthful energy and innovative awareness. The structure is rich and thick, and the rhythm ebbs and flows.
