Everything I have included in my recipe are based off ingredients I use almost everyday and absolutely love.

Since Avocado is our main focus in this recipe I just wanted to point out some amazing facts about it. Starting with, Did you know it’s a fruit? Ok honestly I didn’t until I reasearched more on the benefits of eating an avocado. I guess I’m late to the party on that little fact. ALRIGHTYYYY!!! And for the reason you came here, My Avocado Toast recipe.

•1 avocado

•Basil leaves

•Black olives

•Chia seeds

•fresh lemon juice

•Melted plant based olive oil butter

•gluten free toast

Step 1:

Smash up your avocado and then add

•finely chopped spinach,

•finely chopped cucumbers,

•chia seeds,

•half sized black olives.

•And a quarter of your lemon squeezed

I personally didn’t add any seasoning but feel free to do so now if you want and then mix it all together along with about a Tablespoon of your melted plant based butter & sit the rest aside to drizzle on toast.

Step 2:

Get your toast nice and crisp and then drizzle your melted butter on it. Do not soak your toast making it soggy! You can also substitute the melted vegan butter for olive oil! Both taste really well with this recipe.

Then you’re going to want to apply your Avocado mixture onto the toast and then on top of that apply your finely chopped tomatoes, finely chopped basil leaves, and finely chopped onion. And boom! A healthy snack for all of your family to enjoy!

Side note:

I personally do not do a lot of measuring and just add what I want of each flavor. To each is their own in my opinion. This particular recipe is very hard to mess up, I promise. You may want more of something and less of another. Super easy recipe to play around with.
