Selasi and I first met at a party. She was remaining in the corner, without anyone else, and she looked so miserable and desolate. I headed toward her and presented myself, and we began talking. We instantly clicked, and that night, we talked for hours.

Selasi was a scorpion lady, I found out. She was born with a rare condition that gave her features that looked like scorpions. Scales covered her skin and she had a stinger in her tail. But Selasi was the kindest and gentlest person I had ever met, despite her appearance.

As soon as we started dating, I fell in love with Selasi. She was entertaining, brilliant, and wonderful. In any case, I realize that our relationship would be troublesome. When we went out together, people would stare at us and even be afraid of her.

We were strolling down the street one day when a group of kids began to follow us. They were making fun of Selasi and calling her names. Despite my rage, Selasi simply ignored them. Their words did not harm her.

I realized that Selasi was the strongest person I had ever met that day. She had endured a great deal of discrimination and prejudice throughout her life, but she had never given up. I knew she would always be there for me because she had survived.

I'm so glad I met Selasi, and we've been together for five years. I've learned so much from her about love and life. She's shown me that it doesn't make any difference what you resemble outwardly, what is important is what's within.

I am extremely fortunate to have Selasi in my life because she is the most amazing person I know.

I was on vacation in the Galapagos Islands and was staying at a small resort called Selassi Private. One night, I saw a scorpion there. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye one night as I was sitting on my balcony taking in the ocean view. I turned my head and saw a scorpion creeping across the floor.

I was slightly frightened because I had never seen one before. Yet, I was likewise inquisitive, so I chose to draw a nearer look. I slowly stood up and proceeded to walk over to the scorpion. It had a long, thin tail with a stinger at the end and was about the size of my hand.

I stayed with the scorpion for a while. It was just going about its business by crawling around. I concluded that there was nothing to be afraid of. Scorpions are very timid animals, and they possibly sting assuming they feel undermined.

I decided to find out more about scorpions. I looked up information about them online before returning to my room. I found out that scorpions come in more than 2,000 different species and are found all over the world. Most scorpions are not perilous to people, yet there are a couple of animal groups that have toxins that can be deadly.

I was happy to have gained more knowledge about scorpions. They no longer frightened me. I realize that they were simply innocuous animals that were attempting to carry on with their lives.

I went on a forest hike the next day. I watched where I was walking very carefully, and I didn't see any scorpions. In any case, I saw a ton of other fascinating things, similar to Goliath turtles, iguanas, and ocean lions.

I lived it up on my getaway in the Galapagos Islands. I gained a lot of knowledge about scorpions and other animals. I also learned that respecting all creatures, no matter how different they appear, is essential.

Here are a few instructive focuses from the story:
