Statistically English is a world-wide spoken language, the actual numbers vary from study to study, but the amount of people who speak English is universal. The English language is a language that reaches across a multitude of cultures, industries, and a multitude of countries. Students who learn English open doors and gateways otherwise not thought possible. Teaching English is so important because learning English has become paramount. Everywhere you look, especially in the online world, you will most likely find websites, blogs, lists, social media posts, the list goes on and on predominantly written in the English language. Many people from other countries and cultures are seeking out ways to learn English, because they have come to realize how important it is to learn the English language.

English Is The International Business Language

Many people think this is an elitist view, but if you research any business more than likely all the business materials will be in the English language. It is important to teach English to non-English speakers so that they can be successful business men and women in a world that is ruled predominately by an English language. Many individuals are eager to learn the English language and be taught the English language, because the digital world is significantly impacted by the digital world. Social media will translate other languages that are written into the English language. Social media is the glue that has united our society, and many seek to be able to continue these conversations, and hence seek out the English language. Another reason teaching English is so important is because the arts and science industries rely heavily on the English language. Coding is mainly written in the English language, so it is of utmost importance that individuals entering a field related to this learn and understand the English language. The English language is a way to bring other people and students across cultures together.

Think about where you want to travel? What languages do you think are predominantly spoken in that country, or if it is not predominantly spoken, it may be a well known language of that country. There are many programs that can teach individuals to learn the English language: TESOL, TESL, TEFL, and etc., depending upon your needs, and where you may be traveling. Many think that English is a complex language, but it really isn't, it is a language composed of a 26 letter alphabet, and has the ability to open numerous doors for the person who is learning the language. Learning English can be fun, and opens a multitude of possibilities.

It is important to teach the English language because it is becoming more and more important for people to learn the English language. English is a worldwide language, and opens up a multitude of doors and opportunities.
