Tom: I think it would be great. I wouldn’t have to ride so far to the gym.
Dad: Although, the beach is nearby. That is one great thing.
Mom: That’s true. But there aren’t any large supermarkets around here.
Tom: And not many good restaurants either.

Moving to the city
These days, I’ve been thinking about what it would be like to live in the city. My husband doesn’t want to leave. I like our beachside town where we live. The beach is really pretty, but sometimes it can be inconvenient.
For example, if I wanted to buy some clothes, I’d have to drive over an hour to the nearest department store. The clothing stores around here don’t have much choice. Plus, there isn’t a big supermarket nearby, which makes it frustrating to buy everyday items sometimes.
When my sons, Tom and Brad, want to see a movie, they have to take the bus to the city. There is no cinema in our town. I don’t like them coming home so late after the movie ends.
I will try to talk to my husband again to see if I can change his mind!
