Introduction

Learn Student Ambassadors are a global group of campus leaders who are eager to help fellow students, create robust tech communities, and develop technical and career skills for the future. You might find yourself organizing a virtual hackathon to solve the world’s toughest problems or helping fellow students build their coding skills with Microsoft Learn—it’s all up to you.

Why be an Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador?

• The Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program is an educational and promotional program to sponsor undergraduate and postgraduate students majoring in disciplines related to technology and computer science.

• As a whole, the program aims to increase awareness of Microsoft products, programs and initiatives. Consequently, the program helps expanding the user base of Microsoft products, and results in better availability of properly educated workforce in those technologies.

Eligibility:

To apply, you must be at least 16 years old, have valid identification and be actively enrolled in an accredited, higher education academic institution.

We encourage the students from all academic backgrounds who want to grow their career and tech skills while making a difference in their communities to apply. Some experience in coding or technology is helpful, but we have tools and resources to help you learn in the program.

U.S. F-1 visa students should check with the Designated School Official at the International Student office of their school (or their own personal immigration legal counsel) to see if participation in this Program would constitute a violation of their F-1 status. A violation may not only impact a student’s ability to continue with their F-1 studies, but may also affect his or her eligibility for future U.S. immigration-related benefits.

Students in countries like Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Region of Crimea are not eligible for the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors program. U.S. export regulations prohibit the export of goods and services to these countries/regions and therefore students of these countries/regions are not eligible to participate.
