3 Sick Cases of Rape

On Dec. 13, 2018, workers at the Brookside Assisted Living Facility in Melbourne, Florida, found CNA Guettie Belizaire naked inside of a dementia patient’s room putting on her clothes around 5 a.m. Hospital staff became concerned after they could not locate the woman for more than an hour so they began searching for her.

The patient appeared to be confused and distraught. Workers asked him why the CNA was naked in his room, to which he answered, “She jumped on me and raped me.” Staff members contacted upper management with this information.

(I really want to know what she said when they walked in but since she denied even being in the room, I doubt she said much if anything at all.)

They called the police who questioned the 39-year-old woman. Brookside suspended her from her position pending the outcome of the police investigation.

During questioning, she strongly denied the allegations, claiming she was not even inside of the man’s room at all. She challenged investigators to “find proof” of any wrongdoing. Police took a DNA sample from her at this time.

The victim was transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center where a rape kit was performed. The DNA results came back in April 2021, matching the DNA collected on the man’s body.

Belizaire was arrested in March 2019, charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of an elderly person and abuse of an elderly person. Information on a Brevard County jail inmate search shows that Belizaire is currently awaiting trial on the charges.

Woman Molests Two Teenage Boys

A Latrobe, PA, woman was sentenced to 8 to 16-years in prison after she pleaded guilty to rape and multiple counts of statutory sexual assault, indecent sexual assault of a person younger than 16 and corruption of minors.

34-year-old Shanda Rae Hitchock began having sex with two teenage boys in her home in 2006 with the last encounter taking place in 2016. The boys came forward with the allegations in March 2019 at which time Hitchcock was arrested.

The victims told police that the sexual assaults occurred weekly or more often. One of the boys, now in his 20s, claimed the abuse began when he was 14-years-old.

Hitchcock must also refrain from having any contact with the boys and must register as a sex offender when she is released. She must also undergo a sex offenders evaluation before she can be released.

She was also convicted of indecent assault on a fellow inmate while she was in jail. She was sentenced to serve three to 12-months concurrently with the sex charge convictions on the boys.

Miguel Alberto Martinez

In 2017, Casper, Wyoming, resident Miguel Alberto Martinez, who identifies as female and is also known as Michelle Martinez, was found guilty of first-degree sexual abuse of a child and one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a child after a three-day trial.

Martinez raped a 10-year-old girl in the bathroom of her apartment.

She pleaded not guilty in court as her mother and other family members stood in support, claiming they knew Martinez was not guilty. Martinez claimed that her trial was all about her sexuality and an insult to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.

She shouted, “There is no evidence” while being held in a hall for prisoners after the trial.

However, a mound of evidence was presented in court, including the testimony of the little girl she raped.

The court handed down a 30 to- 45-year prison sentence for Martinez, which the Wyoming Supreme Court upheld in 2018.
