The following short true crime stories include karma stories and more for your reading pleasure.

Man Has Heart Attack & Dies as he Sexual Assaults Elderly Woman

If you believe in karma, this is a case that you will enjoy.

The case of 52-year-old Isabel Chavelo Guitierrez is a great example of one such time karma had had enough and dished out her revenge on the spot.

Back in 2011, the south Texas man was out on parole after serving time for a conviction of aggravated sexual assault against a 7-year-old child. Why a parole board felt that he deserved parole (or released at all) after likely causing an innocent child a lifetime of physiological and emotional trauma is beyond me.

Karma felt that.

On June 2, the pervert broke into the home of a 77-year-old elderly woman. He attacked the woman at knifepoint as she slept. As he raped her, the man looked at the woman and stated that he did not feel well. He then stopped the attack and rolled over onto her bed.

The woman escaped the home, running to her daughter’s house where she called 911. She told police that she had seen the man at the post office the day prior but did not personally know him. Guitirezz lived about one mile down the road from the woman. He rode his bike to her house.

Police arrived and found Gutierrez deceased. An autopsy later determined the man died from a heart attack.

Serial Killer Ted Bundy’s Good Deeds

Ted Bundy perfectly fits the description for several disorders, including narcissism and psychopathy. He was convicted for the murders of 36 women, although it is suspected that he killed more than 100. Bundy kidnapped his victims, then raped and murdered them. He often practiced necrophilia on the bodies as well.

As he kidnapped, raped, and murdered young women, he also worked at a suicide hotline helping people in their darkest moments.

After his arrest and conviction, Bundy was sent to Death Row where he would commit another good deed (although this was a mere attempt to spare his own life) as he gave detectives information and insight into the mind of a serial killer, leading to the arrest of Gary Ridgway, the Green River Killer.

Ridgway killed at least 48 teens and girls during the 1980s and 1990s. Behind Bundy, he is the second most prolific serial killer in US history. Detectives were stumped by the string of disappearances and murders, with all the victim’s bodies showing up along the Green River.

With Bundy’s help, police caught Ridgway on Feb. 18, 2011. He confessed to a 49th murder at this time. Police think the death toll at the hands of Ridgway is closer to 80.

Woman Suffocates on Cucumber Used as Sex Toy

On July 19, 2014, German man Oliver Dietmann killed his lover with a cucumber. That woman, 46-year-old Rica Varna, suffocated on the vegetable after Dietmann left it stuffed inside her mouth.

The married man and his lover were using the cucumber as a sex toy when He said he ‘Saw smoke in the kitchen.” He got up, leaving his lover with the cucumber in her mouth, and investigated the smoke. Then, he fed the dog, smoked a cigarette, and relaxed in his chair for a bit before returning to his lover. He found Varna unconscious.

Dietmann says he attempted to remove the cucumber from her mouth but said that it was “too squishy.” The couple had consumed four bottles of wine and other alcohol, leading prosecutors to believe that it impaired his decision-making skills and judgment. He was found guilty of negligent homicide but did not go to jail after the judge suspended his five-year sentence.

In court, Dietmann stated that “We often used vegetables because we had no proper dildos.”
