Best New Women's Soccer Players of 2018
The beauty of soccer is that it's an open ended sport with a wide variety of angles and attitudes to experience. The female iteration of MSL has, in all accord, taken the US by storm in a newfound entry of sports and televised entertainment. From the likes of the radical and indifferent Hope Solo, an American goalkeeper and World Cup champion, to that of the less known identity behind Alyssa Naeher, yet another goalkeeper from the Chicago Red Stars, only proves of the audacity, wit and cunning so enlivened by this newfound female taste in American soccer. How and where this sport will go is beyond me, but the modern referral of newer additions to the various US teams can be a good starting point.

As one of the biggest clubs in the world, if not the biggest, Manchester United can command a spending power only to be rivaled by an elite few. Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, and newcomers to the financial elite Paris Saint Germain and local rivals Manchester City, are the only teams in the world that can match Manchester United's spending power in 2018. Despite more money being pumped into association football year on year, the landscape is changing; huge clubs such as Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Arsenal can't compete with the wages and transfer fees that other clubs can offer to the players at the top level. Putting it like that, Manchester United should be able to pick and choose some of the best players from world football to put in their team, right? Not exactly.

Think back to the summer; Chelsea had just signed Alvaro Morata for £58m from Real Madrid, a new club record. This sparked a lot of speculation: was Cesc Fabregas going to provide the same assists that he provided to Diego Costa previously? Antonio Conte Set for the Sack or Contract Extension?
Recently, Antonio Conte has been under some scrutiny after Chelsea have had some poor performances, and this can been accompanied with some very poor results. This was capped off with a second half collapse against Bournemouth, which led to a 3-0 home defeat to AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday. This included three goals in sixteen second half minutes, including former Blue, Nathan Ake, scoring the third. Ake had left the club in the summer for around 20 million pounds.

Odds are never in your favor when it comes to picking not only the right team in fantasy football, but a winning team. I think this concept, most of all, has become rather construed, especially when dealing with Premier League fantasy football, because it’s as much about skill as it is about the team’s overall functionality. You may have two or three of the best players on your League, but if they’re positioned incorrectly, or aren’t making all the points you had hoped for, chances are you simply didn’t follow the correct steps in designing a world class fantasy team.

It's like having a crush on someone; you love everything about them, go nuts when they say hi to you, and want to hide from the world in anger and sorrow when you see them talking to someone else. That's how I see soccer...

Sound the church bells! Liverpool had a lot of possession away from home, and won! This has been all too rare an occurrence in recent times. Prior to this match, the Reds had played 46 away matches in the Premier League under Jürgen Klopp. Those games split almost evenly between Liverpool having less or more than 59 percent of the possession.
