A Review of Aveeno's New Skincare Line
Thank you so much to Chick Advisor and Aveeno for providing me with complimentary products to review. In this post, I will be reviewing several products by Aveeno; Aveeno Positively Radiant Max Glow Peel Off Mask, Aveeno Positively Radiant Max Glow Infusion Drops, and Aveeno Positively Radiant Max Glow No-Mess Sleep Mask.
I have included links to Shoppers Drug Mart's Beauty Boutique for ease of purchase if you should choose to buy any of these products. I will not be receiving any type of affiliation payments or commission if you choose to purchase via these links.
Aveeno themselves do no test on animals, but still sell their products in ,ainland China and therefore may be subjected to animal testing. HOWEVER, China has announced post-market cosmetics are no longer required to be animal tested in both domestic and imported sales, so I will update this evaluation as news progresses.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Max Glow Peel Off Mask
I was so excited to try this product as I wasn't sure how a face mask could serve as an exfoliant. I, unfortunately, was not a big fan of this mask as I found it took much longer than expected to dry and was extremely hard to remove. I had much more success in washing the mask off with a towel and then washing my face afterwards instead of peeling it.
Aveeno Max Exfoliating Peel Off Mask is available in-store or online at Shopper's Drug Mart for $14.49 CAD.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Max Glow Infusion Drops
I was suffering from some pretty bad, dry, flaky skin prior to this package coming in the mail and I was very upset and frustrated that absolutely nothing was keeping moist throughout the day. I wear a drop of this alone and then mix two drops of this and mix it with my eczema care colloidal oatmeal lotion. I am so happy to say my skin has maintained its hydration all day again and I don't know what I would do without this little bottle.
When applied it leaves a very natural dewy glow to your skin and I like to apply it twice a day when I wake up and before bed.
The Aveeno Max Glow Infusion Drops are available in-store or online at Shopper's Drug Mart for $31.99 CAD.
Aveeno Positively Radiant Max Glow No-Mess Sleep Mask
I am a big fan of the Summer Fridays Jet Lag mask, but just can't justify the price when looking at the amount, so I was super excited when I saw this in my Chick Advisor box to test and try.
I compared the two of them beside each other and found they both were well absorbed into my skin overnight leaving it softer and more supple than before I went to sleep, which was really exciting for me to have found a more inexpensive alternative.
I am a big fan of the built-in silicone applicator that comes with the mask and love that the scent is light and almost none existent.
Aveeno Max Glow No-Mess Sleep Mask is available in-store or online at Shopper's Drug Mart for $31.99 CAD.
