Sandra HillPublished 4 years ago in BeatWhy Bizzy Bone Carbon Monoxide is the best rap album of 2019
A lot of people claim to have the best album of the year. But they are wrong because that title goes to Bizzy Bone Carbon Monoxide and I will tell you why. It’s not just because I am a huge Bone Thugs N Harmony fan. So this album has brought real rap skill and lyrics back to the rap game when it needed it a most.
The Sinister PenPublished 4 years ago in BeatI can’t carry this anymore
The first time I heard this song, I was at work, doing my end of night standard procedures. Sometimes I like to listen to music because I know it will take me a while. I’m a manager at a pub. People look at me and see any other person and know nothing about me. The song is by Anson Seabra, the title “I cant carry this anymore”
SsFemmeFatalesSPublished 4 years ago in BeatMy Top Ten Queen Favorites
I am Queen-obsessed. I hadn't always been this way though. I have always loved Queen's music, well, at least what the radio played. And Freddie Mercury's voice was music to my ears because it is one of the purest sounds ever. But I had never appreciated their music, their art, their story, Freddie Mercury's life, and their contribution to rock and roll as I do now.

Leigh HooperPublished 4 years ago in BeatCogent
So let’s start at the beginning. Ever since Cal-L dropped his first album Resplendence in mid-March of 2019 we’ve been able to notice that his electrifying sound is something very different than most other artist in this New Age hip-hop era. Instead of verses full of violence or drugs he’s taken a more “youthful” approach to the game painting us pictures of a heroes journey through the 21st century. He’s on many occasions stated that he, “intends to path his way to the top of the industry doing things his own way.” in Super-Hero fashion it seems, a way only the Superman of Entertainment can pull off. With his newest EP Outer-Space he does just that. Not only is it filled with golden nuggets of relatable knowledge it also gives us a feeling of hopping into a spaceship with Cal-L as he takes us on a journey through his universe.

Leigh HooperPublished 4 years ago in BeatKpop
I know there is a great divide between people concerning K-pop. A lot of people think it's terrible, not real music, insufferable, and a money-making machine. And some of those people may be right.

Alex EynstonePublished 4 years ago in BeatIs Lizzo Unlikable?
Lizzo is one of the biggest stars of the past year and implored us to ask the philosophical question: why mean great till they gotta be great? She made a lot of noise with tracks like “Juice,” “Truth Hurts” “Good as Hell” and “Tempo.” Her rise to stardom was something that we hadn’t seen before as her most notable tracks were released years ago and only recently made their way to the tops of the charts.
