I'm Nervous
You probably knew from my previous stories that I was in choir from fourth grade until senior year and that I took voice lessons for about a year and a half. But I bet you didn't know that, a few days ago, I went on Instagram and signed up for The Voice. Yes, if you thought of The Voice as in on Live television and I could win money, then yes, that's the right one.

Passa The Salsa
Another Latin music style is Salsa, which you will soon see is a popular music genre unto itself. Salsa instruments include the bass, bongo, conga, cowbell, clave, cabaca, guitar, maracas, piano, timbales, trombones, trumpets, woodwinds called ocarinas and panpipes. Salsa embodies the Latin music persona, but has since expanded to include American genres like Pop, Rock, Jazz, and R&B. You may notice that when a music style--in this case Salsa--gets popular, it often sub-divides and forms other styles of Salsa: Erotica, Gorda, and Romantica. There are also fusions like Charanga-Vallenata, Mereng-House, Salsa-Merengue, Songa-Salsa, TImba, and Salsa flavored Reggeaton.

From an interview with an artist: "It was one of those songs that just fell out of my brain. I have this complicated relationship with all things celestial, especially during the night. I was talking about my weird relationship with the night sky with a friend one day. And a stranger, who identified herself as a green witch, told me that I was cursed by moonlight. That really freaked me out. And, I guess, when I wrote this song, I was thinking about all the memories from the night that seemed so cursed."
