Halloween Bash Playlist
With chords sweeter than candy corn. ‘Tis the season for spine tingles, and goosebumps. Halloween is my daughters favorite holiday. In her words, Halloween gives you an excuse to dress up, and embrace your weird. The pandemic has had a big impact on the trick-or treating experience. So my daughter thought a small costume party would be good idea. With her help, I compiled a spook-tacular playlist. So come have a listen and maybe these songs will be at your own Halloween Bash:
1. Young Blood:
This song is perfect to play in the background when enjoying festive games like bobbing for apples. The chorus sounds like ghost moaning.
2. Darkside:
This bewitching tune, would be great to play in the background while carving pumpkins. Do you have the guts to give this melody a listen?
3. Ghost Busters Theme:
This iconic song is a must have at any Halloween party. I had to include this because it’s my daughter’s favorite.
4. Ballora Song:
This gothic style song. Would be perfect to play in the background while children are running around doing nighttime tag with glow sticks.
5. Devils Swing:
This Bendy vaudeville theme song, would be perfect to play, as you’re putting on face paint. To complete the costumes look. This tune is sure to amp you up!
6. This is Halloween TRAP remix:
This childhood favorite remix would pair wonderfully, as people walk through a haunted house or garage. Close you’re eyes and be transported to Halloween town.
7. Corpse Bride Theme:
This jazzy beat, would be a light hearted song to play, on a haunted hay ride. Each thump would cause kids to jump out of their skin.
8. Don’t make me laugh:
This ballad would make a good song to dance along to. The vocals by Tim Curry are hauntingly beautiful.
9. Bendy Our Machine:
This Bendy tune would sound amazing playing as people are trying to find their way out of a corn maze.
10. Blood in the water:
This techno tune would be a good song to play as you’re making punch for the party.
11.Devil’s Don’t Fly:
This power ballad, would be a good song to play as you roast pumpkin seeds. The snare drums , call ones attention getting you stolked for a party.
12. Dollhouse:
This synthesized dark song, faintly the clock ticks away, adding a grave urgency to the theme. I think it goes well with taking photos.
13. Tag-your-it:
Another synthesized tune, the voice warp, accompanied by drums. Would add a sense of suspense to a murder mystery party.
14. Monster-Mash:
This classic tune would be another great choice to dance along to, the kids will laugh at this oldie.
15.Owl Panic:
This song would be perfect to play to let guests know it’s time for dinner.
16.Flesh and Bone:
This anthem would make a good song to start with when beginning karaoke at home with friends.
17.Monster:
This metal guitar riff, amps up any party. The screamo and low growls add to the spooky theme. As it’s my nephews favorite song to belt out.
18.Bring me to Life:
This metal song, is another good choice to sing along while karaoking. The rustling wind overlays adds a Halloweeny vibe.
19. Welcome to the Black Parade:
Has a wonderful piano and snare accompaniment, that could play while you’re choosing a best costume winner at a party.
20. Natural:
This rock song would be another great choice, to add karaoke song list.
21. Black- Magic:
This pop ballad is a fun song to dance along to as the witchy beat is hard to resists.
23. Cut with an E:
If dancing isn’t your thing.
This screamo song is perfect for head banging to, the dark theme adds a little creepy factor to the holiday.
24. Bad-blood:
What kind of party would it be with out a Swift song? This song would be a great tune to sing along to.
25. I miss you:
This song iconic garish lyrics is another wonderful choice to add to a karaoke list.
26. Self-control:
An eighties flash back, that will get everyone dancing along. One of my dad’s favorite singers.
27. Ex and Oh’s:
This rockabilly sounding song, is another fun one to sing along with. You could even play it while you’re playing corn-hole .
28. Let it Rock:
This hair metal song would be a great song to add keep the party going.
29. Wanted Dead or Alive:
Another hair metal tune, that will stop the guest in their tracks and asked to be turned up! One of my mom’s favorite bands.
30. Back and Black:
Would be a good song to play while you’re bringing out snacks like chips, and sticky popcorn balls.
31. Close to you Remix:
Is a good song to slow the pace down of the party. The mechanical sounds, add a creepy vibe.
32. In Love With a Monster:
This soul song, would be a great tune to dance along to, and will make kids excited as it is from a popular movie.
33. The Moon:
This magical rap song, would be perfect to use a transition into a new genre of music for the party.
34. My family:
This pop, song is perfect touch to a Halloween bash. Make it family friendly night.
35. Bury Me:
This emo ballad is perfect for those who may of been dumped before Halloween. Allowing all the anger out while listening to a bewitching song.
36. Drones:
This ghostly metal song is for those who don’t like to dance, but will toss their hair around to this tune.
37. Zombie:
This slower ballad, is a popular song to sing. A must add to a karaoke list. One of my cousins favorite and I love to hear her sing it.
38. Secrets:
Is a dark song that is perfect for a Halloween party, as it sounds like a ghost story, as creates a suspenseful mood. That has a unforgettable refrain.
39. Spooky Scary Skeleton Remix:
This techno beat, will make a nice transition song at a party.
40. The monster:
This rap collaboration, would make a good song to dance along to. Even the boogeyman would shake his booty.
41. Along Came Jones:
This oldie, is a must have on a party list, this will get the older crowds toes tapping along.
42. Purple People Eater:
This oldie will get a reaction in a crowd, and is fun to swing dance along to.
43. Devil went down to Georgia:
This country song will get those party guest two stepping. Highly recommended to addtion to a playlist.
44. I Want Candy:
Since this holiday is all about candy and trick or treating.
This pop song will get the party moving. Yes it is possible to line dance to this! Try it you won’t regret it!
45. Old Town Road:
This crossover song is a perfect song to add to a karaoke list.
46. Watch me:
This R&B dance song, is the perfect tune to end the night with. I had to add it as it’s my nieces favorite song to dance to.
