~Zap Aura, the hyena~
A young writer spurring with ideas, I am eager to pour my creativity into fictional works. This includes my book, "Strucken," which I am currently working to complete, and any short stories and tangents I encounter along the way.

The rummaging rogue clambered through his belongings. He snatched the spare fuel cell capsule, counting the mere seconds his barrier would provide. He made with haste, replacing the dead cell that now leaked acidic fluid onto his workshop floor. The cognitive process that plagued the hyena was exhausting his mind, but he had to keep it up; any moment, the rioting horde of dark souls would bombard the steel vault door and take the bunker by storm. He bagged the locked grimoire from the lectern and armed his flame mortar.

"The Scavenger" Proudly the hyena watched as another meal was created before his eyes. Yet again the lion had caught his prey and was feasting upon its meat. It was only a matter of time before the hyena would claim his share.
As in... Camouflage?
Another hour, another state. Me and my family were traveling across country to pick up a new exotic pet from a shelter in Tuttle, Oklahoma. As we rode in my dad’s work Tahoe, I couldn’t stop thinking about the moment that the brand-new animal would enter our lives. We were all looking forward to it, but I knew that my mom was anticipating the moment more than any one of us, including myself. I can still remember the day that we had first set eyes on the wonderful creature. Me and my mom were just sitting down, flipping through the pages of the Wild Life Explorer when we came across an article about the Fennec fox: a beautiful, wild African desert fox. My mother instantly fell in love with the idea of owning one and sought to make her fantasy become reality. So, over the course of the next few months, she had dug up as much research as she could covering the subject. She figured up the feeding costs, planned out the sleeping area, prepared the house to house and accept the new-comer (“fox-proofing”, she called it). She searched for fox breeders within the U.S., and when she came across the “Zoo to You” program and saw that they were willing to sell, she leapt at the opportunity and purchased a little baby fox in Oklahoma. The down side (aside from the absurd cost, that is): we were required to drive there and pick it up. However, this was a simple delay to my mom, and she new that it would be worth it in the end, for she would have in her possession, as she worded it, “The cutest little thing I’ve ever seen!”
The Silver Alchemist
“Trial #24 results: Substance remained, no signs of conversion, remote indication of spontaneous decay,” recorded Argent Trinket in his research journal. He took a moment to contemplate, stepping away from his experiment with a cluttered and confused mind. He gazed upon the frame on the wall that contained the picture of his ancient inspiration Nicholas Flamel. Over the course of many years, Trinket had been continuing the work of the famed alchemist, and it was most recently that he had stumbled upon a new field of alchemy: “Fluent Alchemy” he called it. This new field was the key to becoming all-powerful. Not since the days of King Midas and Rumpelstiltskin has any mortal witnessed its extraordinary capabilities. With a simple wave of the hand, one is able to exchange any material for an equalized amount of any other material (especially metals).
