Tesla: Why Buy One?
Tesla is the darling of Wall Street. It inevitably comes out in casual conversation at work and among friends. Many people love Tesla, to the point that it has become a religion. Many who have one brag about it. And don’t get me wrong, I love the car too. But after several conversations among my circle of friends, I learned two reasons that haven’t been talked about. I see these two reasons that will help make Tesla, the largest number of vehicles sold in the world.

Flyers Beware
Just when you think it couldn't get worse. Well, guess again, it has. I don't know what is going on. The airlines' upper management slashed jobs and t was blindsided by the pent-up demand for air travel by the Covid entrapped populace. The airlines are now struggling to refill positions that they laid off two years ago. As a result, the airline staff is putting in extra hours. As a result, summer travel in 2022 has already beaten 2019's record.

The Mule from China
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. A pair of headlights drove toward the lighted cabin, bobbing and bouncing its way up the dirt road. The road rarely was driven upon and allowed thickets and brush to claim the road as its own. The car slowly approached the cabin and stopped in the clearing. A tall, muscular silhouette opened the car door. He walked to the car's trunk, popped it open, and removed a small briefcase.

GREECE: A VACATION PARADISE
Personal Photo by TS Stamos Sunset at the Temple of Poseidon Visiting Greece is not only breathtaking but is relatively easy. There are many things that Greece has to offer. Its varied terrain and climate offer something for everyone. Greece has history and ruins and offers many thirsts for knowledge and an unquenchable supply to drink and soak in. Outdoor live theater is typical in many areas in Greece.

The Secret to Being a Good Father
Being a good parent is difficult. We want to protect our children from bad events. But unfortunately, our world isn't as safe as it was a generation ago. Seventy-five years ago, families left their houses unlocked at night. Kids came home from school without the constant lecture, "Don't talk to strangers." And we usually left the car keys in the ignition when it was parked in the driveway. It was OK to hitchhike from home to the center of town. Those were the good ole days. What have we become now? Sadly, we can't go back.

Talking to Customer Service; Is It Extinct?
Photo by Boston Public Library on Unsplash I miss the Telephone Operator. Those were the good ole days. You called customer service and instantly, a voice came through crystal clear, sincere, and so sweet. “This is the company of business past, how can I help you?” Music to my ears. I explained my problem and bang. I could really sense her efforts in solving my problem. And within five minutes the issue was resolved. I hung up with relief from the burden and a smile on my face. I was happier after the phone call.

Why Buying Lottery Tickets Are Worth It
I know the rhetoric and the statistics. I am throwing my money away. I agree, and you are right. But the one small thing that compels me to buy a lottery ticket every time, is Hope. There is a tiny bit of luck or chance in that little scrap of paper. But it’s my moment of Escape. I daydream my hopes and dreams in five minutes, forgetting my troubles. I sometiimes go into details, make lists of the the things I want or the places I want to go and see. I don't go overboard with a gazillion lottery tickets, let alone ten. I will buy one or two. I will buy five tickets when the jackpot exceeds the odds of winning the jackpot. I know one thing, if I play I know the odds are against me winning, but I do have a microscopic slim chance of winning. If I don't play, the odds are worse, I have NO chance of winning. Nada. No way in hell of a chance at winning that sweet jackpot. I will take that chance.

My Friend Asks Me, "Should I Marry My Fiance?"
This article is for the guys. I feel that women are more mature than men at the same age. The adage that "behind every great man, there is an even greater woman" may allude to this. I don't know any great man who wasn't in a relationship. I have had two friends of mine ask me this very question or some derivative of it. I don't know why they said it. Alcohol was involved. Come to think of it; they were both drunk when they asked me. Then again, alcohol has been known to act as a truth serum. Another adage comes to mind, "In wine, there is truth." Truth be told, how do you answer this question,"Should I Marry My Fiance?".

Your Wife Decides to get Implants…
Six months ago, my friend Brad called me out of the blue and wanted us to catch up. I thought that was weird. Brad and I grew more and more apart once he got married. Don't get me wrong, we were still friends, but as college roommates, we were best buds. We would call each other daily. Every Thursday night was Ladies Night, and we would always hang out at our favorite college bar. It was called ‘The Library.’ Every college student loved that bar for one primary reason. You can be honest with your parents whenever they ask, “where are you going, ” or “ Where were you last night?” I always answered my mother with a straight, guiltless tone, “At the Library.”
