The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy Casts Switched Roles?
I was watching Honest Trailers' take on Guardians of the Galaxy (which if you haven't seen, watch it above before moving on; hilariously wonderful) and, while riffing on "the space Avengers," I thought about what it would look like if they had cast the MCU differently? Imagine for a moment, if you will, an alternate universe where the cast of the MCU were switched around. Some of these are fitting, while others are preposterously laughable. Let's look at how things would be different in this alternate universe.

Marvel Stars Defend Their Films Against DC!
This futile war is seemingly never-ending. While there are many that can enjoy both Marvel and DC, some show their favoritism more than others and this isn't limited to just the fans. Even the actors are getting involved, this time in the form of Anthony Mackie bashing DC:

Not-So-Super: Marvel Heroes Without Superpowers, Part 2.
In Marvel's comic world, many heroes have the benefit of being an alien, having powers, or both; however, there are more than a handful of heroes that have proved themselves just as heroic as any superpowered individual on the battlefield. While many of them you may recognize from the movies (Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Man, etc.), we're also going to take a look at heroes that are not so well-known. I've split this into two articles, due to the surprisingly large amount of civilian superheroes, so be sure to check out Part 1 if you haven't already.

Is THIS movie the Worst Superhero Film Ever Made?
We have been spoiled with some of the best Superhero flicks ever made, but this golden age of comic book films begs the question: why were all those bad superhero movies made in the first place? After all, there is a long legacy of great stories from the comics themselves, so why do things become awful when transferred to the big screen? I'm here to give a few thoughtful answers to that exact question, but as we contemplate that, let us first remember all of the terrible renditions of our favorite heroes with a short list (in no particular order). I've had to narrow this down to movies that I have seen, so be sure to add your own thoughts and comments on the movies I do not have listed here.

A Living Planet, a 2D Man: 10 of Marvel's Most Bizarre Characters
Marvel is often remembered for their spectacular and original heroes, but buried beneath grandiose films and their lengthy lineage of past comics, Marvel has some strange and eccentric heroes that will probably never see the red carpet rolled out for a movie. Let's take a trip to the land of the peculiar and find the myths and legends of some of Marvel's most bizarre characters ever created.

Everything We Know About Captain America: Civil War
The hype has been built up for Captain America: Civil War and many rumors have been spread. Sometimes it's hard to tell what we know to be true about the upcoming film and what we believe to be true based on rumors, so I'm laying out the facts of what we know for certain here.

6 Marvel Monsters to Inspire You for Halloween
If you have the same issue, then this is the post for you. Marvel has many heroes, but few are as overlooked as the Legion Of Monsters (apart from Flatman and the other Great Lakes Avengers). Skipping over Satana (skimpy outfits aren't my style; they make me look fat) and Ghost Rider (because setting my head on fire for Halloween might be a little drastic), let's start with the Living Mummy and see if we can't find some inspiration from these classic costume ideas.

5 Major Stories Fans Want in the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Captain America: Civil War marks the first movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to tackle a major Marvel storyline (albeit, slightly different than the comics), followed by the Infinity War movies to finish Phase 3. As we wait with anticipation for these iconic stories to come to the big screen, let's take a look at some other major storylines that could hit us by Phase 4 and beyond (with the current movie rights Marvel has to their characters).

Could These Former Child Stars End Up In The MCU? (Part 2)
Picking up from Part 1, we're taking a look at child actors, where they are now, and what roles they could potentially play in the MCU. For Part 2 we're going to look at the New Warriors, specifically as it concerns Marvel's upcoming movie Captain America: Civil War. Now we know that things in the MCU will be very different from the comic version of Civil War, due to the lack of secret identities in the MCU and movie rights to other players. So, we know that the Stamford, CT incident with The New Warriors and Nitro won't be the spark to the Civil War flame; however, that doesn't necessarily negate them from the cinematic universe. If Marvel and ABC have Damage Control in the works, don't doubt for a second that an idea for the New Warriors isn't floating around on their idea table somewhere.

Could These Former Child Stars End Up in the MCU?
I'm always looking into actors and actresses that can be plugged into my fan casting polls and recently I had this question posed to me: What ever happened to the child actors that I remember from growing up? There's no place better for that investigation/fan casting than right here on Moviepilot. Being that I'm a Marvel junkie, I thought I'd take a crack at casting these former stars into the MCU. I honestly don't know too much about DC (or Mutants for that matter), so if you have any suggestions for that casting, comment below.

DC v. DC: Why Has WB Created Two Universes?
When The Avengers came out in 2012, it was clear that DC had quite a ways to catch up when it came to assembling their own team in a cinematic Justice League. With Man of Steel coming out the following year, I was intrigued to see what they would do.
