Music for Mind, Heart, and Soul
When I think of zen, I think of becoming centered and grounded. Allowing stress to melt away while I find a happy place to collect my thoughts and shed negativity. Using music is the perfect way to uplift your spirit and soothe your soul.

If You Love Ancient History
*Spoiler alert! All the historical characters discussed in this article are dead. Most of them, not by natural causes. When learning about history was a requirement, I had zero interest. I learned the hard way that you can’t write a history report based on a movie. Now that I’m older, I love learning about different periods in time and the people from those periods. Occasionally, a movie just isn’t enough.

Dear Grandmas
Dear Grandmas, It’s been so long since I sat down to write a letter to anyone. Definitely a lost art in our fast-paced, electronic lives. Choosing just one of you to honor for your life, and to thank for my life is too difficult. My DNA is filled with your strength and grace. When I think of what each of you went through during your lifetimes, I feel humbled and proud.

Lucius Mestrius Plutarchus was born in 46 AD and died around 119 AD. Although he was born in Chaeronea, Boeotia, Greece, Rome ruled the area at the time. Lucius Mestrius was added to his name when he was granted Roman citizenship. Throughout his life, he was a philosopher. The core of his philosophy was Platonic but he did borrow from other philosophies like the Stoics and Peripatetics. Other vocations listed for him are biographer and essayist. He was also a priest at the Temple of Apollo in Delphi.

Worx Works
Worx tools were a dream come true last year when I was looking online for a potential replacement for my lawn trimmer. I checked all of the usual suspects; Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowes but the trimmers they had were like the lawn trimmer I already owned. What I needed was something that would be easier to use, lighter weight, and low maintenance.

Declutter and Organize
Am I a hoarder? Well, let’s check the definition. According to yourdictionary.com, The definition of a hoarder is someone who collects things in their home obsessively, including things that would commonly be thrown away: bags, old food, or broken items. No, not a hoarder, yet. But it doesn’t take long for clutter to get out of control.

Pisces: Dreaming of Reality
When thinking about the parts of my personality that haven’t come from my parents or my experiences; looking at my astrological sign seemed like an interesting place to start. Each sign has certain distinct characteristics that make them special. Looking at the traits of a Pisces was a good way to find out where some of my idiosyncrasies originated. I was really surprised just how Piscean I am.
