After writing a short article on the Liberties of Rejection, published in Refresh Magazine I thought I would take a look at some of my recently rejected works. Within the Greek Pantheon twins area reccuring theme. Often comprising of one female and one male, they show the duallity within us all. Each pair of twins in the following poems adresses the complex relationships and dynamics. Artemis and Apollo, the gods of the moon and the sun, both complement each other's personalities. Eros and Anteros , love gods, show that loving has to be answered for it to prosper. Cassandra and Helenus, talks of the myth where Cassandra was only believed through the words of her brother, who would explain her prophesies.
