Nya Bussey - Ohio State Nya Bussey finished her outdoor season as the 100 meters and 400-meter relay Big Ten champ before earning All-American honors in both events. The Ohio State sprinter started her season with a strong showing at the Rod McCravy Memorial. She won the 60 meters final with a personal best time of 7.36 which is a top 50 finish in the NCAA. Since then Bussey has run times of 7.52 at the Simmons-Harvey Invitational and 7.58 at the Texas Tech Open. During the 2022 indoor season, Bussey competed in her first 60 meters final at the Big Ten meet. She looks to better her eighth-place performance of 7.43. Her time of 7.36 is currently eighth best in the conference this season.

New Vol Sears takes 60 meters at Bob Pollock After an taking the ACC gold in the 60 meters last indoor season as a Miami Hurricane, Tennessee transfer Jacious Sears is off to a great start at her new institution. Sears won the 60 meters at the Bob Pollock Invitational today, hosted by Clemson.

Aneesah Morrow - DePaul Aneesah Morrow had a bit of a rocky December, facing an injury and tough shooting performances. Despite the difficulties, Morrow ended the season with a couple of strong individual efforts. Morrow lifted DePaul to a 78-69 win over Providence on Dec. 28, behind 29 points, 19 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one blocked shot. Her next game was a 33-point, 10-rebound and five-steal effort in a loss to No. 21 Creighton that closed out 2022 on Dec. 31. Morrow is fourth in the NCAA with a scoring average of 26.3 points and seventh with a rebound clip of 11.9 boards per game.

Maddy Siegrist - Villanova In an 81-55 blowout win over visiting Lassalle, Maddy Siegrist continued her career season. Siegrist scored 31 points with 11 rebounds and one blocked shot in the Dec. 21 victory. The 6-1 forward is averaging 28 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.5 steals, which are all career highs. She is also shooting career bests 52.7 overall from the field, 41.8 from three and 84.5 from the free-throw line. In 95 career games, Siegrist has scored 2,179 points and has grabbed 887 rebounds. She has scored at least 30 points five times this season and in each of the last three games. Villanova is now 10-3.

Angel Reese - LSU LSU improved to 12-0 in an 87-55 win over Oregon State at the Maui Classic on Sunday. Reese scored 25 points with 20 rebounds in 37 minutes of action. She started the Maui Classic with 30 points and 12 rebounds in a 91-52 thrashing of Montana State, Dec. 17. Reese's week started with a 32-point 15-rebound effort at home against Lamar in an 88-42 blowout on Dec. 15. Reese is averaging 24.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game in her first 12 games at LSU. Reese, a 6-3 forward, competed at Maryland during her first two seasons.

Aneesah Morrow - DePaul Aneesah Morrow is now first in the NCAA in scoring due to a productive week. She scored 45 points with 13 rebounds and five blocks in an 81-63 win over Northwestern, Dec. 10. Prior to that game She posted 25 points and 14 rebounds in a 78-52 win over Loyola Chicago. The 6-1 sophomore forward from Chicago has scored 1,007 points and hauled down 583 rebounds in just 43 games. Morrow is currently sixth in the NCAA in rebounding at 12.6 boards per game.
