With Disney buying FOX and the theatrical rights to the X-Men finally once again falling under Marvel at the House Of Mouse the rumour of a new X-Men film and specifically a recasting of the Wolverine character is stronger than ever. It goes without saying that Hugh Jackman has immortalised his version of the character and I’d say it can be safely stated that his portrayal of the mutant was always a highlight of FOX’s X-Men franchise. Speculation of who might take up the mantle from Jackman have circulated since the Release of Logan in 2017 with stars such as Tom Hardy, Keanu Reeves and Scott Eastwood all being involved. Before Marvel’s fabled MCU DC had their own interconnecting universe on the small screen known as the DC animated universe (DCAU). It’s cantered around numerous animated shows and movies starting with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992 and includes other shows such as Superman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond as well as others. The latest addition to the universe came this year with Justice League vs the Fatal Five. Despite many of us growing up and enjoying this universe it without a doubt hides a darker side for many of these characters which can be seen if you take a closer look and think about the implications a little more. Plus, unlike many films and franchises some characters get a definitive end to their stories such as Bruce Wayne’s version of Batman. Yes there are also numerous comic series that are meant to be continuations of numerous DCAU shows however, there are numerous continuity issues in them so they wont be counted here.

'Batman Beyond' Blu Ray Details Revealed!
It's finally been revealed that the much loved animated show by Warner Bros will finally be making its way onto Blu Ray before the end of the year. This is being put together partially to celebrate its 20th anniversary but also as a response to the excellent reception that the Blu Ray release of Batman: The Animated Series had in October of 2018.
'Batman: Hush', Spoiler Free Review
Batman: Hush is a 2019 direct-to-video animated superhero movie set in the DC universe. It is based on a comic story of the same name written by Jeph Loeb which began in December 2002 and concluded in November 2003. It is also currently the 13th feature-length animated film to be set in this DC Animated Movie Universe (DCAMU) which began with Justice League: War and until now ran all the way through to the Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen. The film originally premiered on July 19 at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, arrived on digital download July 20 and will arrive on DVD & Blu Ray August 6th.
