Black History Month is a meaningful time for not only Black people in the United States but all those who identify with the plight and struggle Black or African Americans have faced throughout the decades. The fact that a gradual return to "normal life" in the U.S. has lead to the return of mass shootings is impossible to ignore, as is the frighteningly pervasive problem of anti-Asian violence.
