I'm an intuitive Tarot card reader. It's my day job and I love it. My journey began in 1977 when I had my first card reading. I was astounded and inspired so I bought my first deck, began to learn and I'm still astounded and inspired.

Free Weekly Reading #48 Mirror Dragon Tarot
This week is about recognition. As many of you know, I usually begin the reading each week with the Center card as the main influence and guiding principle for the week. This week, however, I’m going to start with;

Free Weekly Reading #47 Mirror Dragon Tarot
The Center card for this week is the 4 of Swords. The fours of the Tarot are about feeling settled or slowed down, taking a break and contemplating the current situation. At times this can seem like things are stalled or blocked which can be frustrating however the slowdown time gives us a chance to look at what’s happened up to this point. With the suit of swords, we’re dealing with our intellect, the weapons of the mind. This being the case, we may find ourselves thinking of ways to justify the work we’ve done and the things we’ve accomplished. Given this break in the action, so to speak, this week should be a particularly good time to look at what’s been going on in our lives. What things do we feel strongly about? What needs clarification? Is there something that’s been left unsaid that eats away at confidence or trust or understanding? If you’ve been holding back from telling your boss that a colleague isn’t pulling their weight or telling a loved one that you really do care about their issues or even telling someone you need help, whether sensitive, frightening, important or even silly or inconsequential, this week finding the words and the timing seems right at our fingertips.

Free Weekly Reading #46 Mirror Dragon Tarot
The center card this week is the 8 of Swords. With the Swords we look at the intellect. They’re the tools of thought, organization and planning. As we look at the image of the eight in the card we see two straight swords seemingly impeded by six other swords of widely varying shapes and sizes. These disparities show us what happens when we become tangled in the thoughts, ideas, intentions and “helping” hands of other people. Often we tie ourselves in knots trying to live up to expectations that we had no hand in creating and as that happens we gradually lose our own ideas and preparations amid the zigs and zags of trying to please others. As you can imagine once we find ourselves tangled up in those lines of thought that aren’t ours we can feel confused and sometimes even fearful. Within this fear and/or confusion we can easily become frozen in indecision. Those around us who have contributed to the interference of opposing ideas can then see us as lazy or uncaring when, in fact, we’re simply trying to find the thread of our own thought processes as they weave through vying viewpoints. With this card at the center it looks like we’ll be dealing with outside influences who seem to think that they’re own ideas are more fitting than the ones we want to develop and are determined to get the last word.

Free Weekly Reading Mirror Dragon Tarot
www.MirrorDragon.com The Center card for this week is the 2 of Swords. The Swords of the Tarot represent our intellect, our left-brain articulate thinking. It is in the left hemisphere that our language and ability to communicate reside along with our problem solving and organizational skills. The right hemisphere holds more visual, sensual and contextual memory. The communication between the two, the corpus callosum (a large bundle of nerve fibers), forms the heart or core where they interface. In the twos of the Tarot we find the compulsion to recognize and integrate left, right, up, down, inner and outer to create unity within Self. The blue-white flower at the intersection of these two swords asks us to regard the beauty of the interface of intellect versus wisdom in the drive to find balance between the two. With this focus on pulling opposing aspects into an alignment and the ability to come up with the words we need to make that alignment clearly understood, now is a good time to speak up and voice our decisions about what we want and need for our own health and harmony within the group. Whether that group be the Universe, the family, that one special person or simply me, myself and I, this is about finding the core, the heart of the matter and speaking directly to that in a way that brings recognition, acceptance and balance.

Free Weekly Reading by Mirror Dragon Tarot #43
Reading for 10-5 thru 10-11-20 This week we have two of the 2’s. When we look at the energy of the number two we find the inherent polarity of recognition. The Aces are One. They’re whole, complete, undivided. They simply are with no way to regard themselves. Once the whole splits to two it can regard itself and so begins the dance of division, recognition and reconnection. With the ability to define the energy of the whole we see a mirror image and from there seek to realign the opposites into balance.

Free Weekly Reading #42 Mirror Dragon Tarot
Reading for 9-28 thru 10-4-20 All three cards are from the Minor Arcana this week which to me says we’re looking at practical application and how our choices and decisions fit (or don’t) into our day to day lives. They’re also all court cards showing us what aspects of ourselves and others we’re dealing with and finding ways to integrate those aspects into our lives. For now we’re looking for ways that will increase communication and cooperation and for that we’ll need to be flexible. The questions “Who are you?” and “What’re you going to do about it?” dominate the week. Sounds like an old western movie doesn’t it? And with the two knights on horseback facing off at the OK Corral, we may find some intellectual tussles and clashing ideas.

Free Weekly Reading #40 Mirror Dragon Tarot
In looking back to last week’s reading with the free flying energy of the 8 of Wands tempered and utilized by the Ace and Princess of Pentacles it looks like we’ve been largely successful in focusing the Wands’ fiery creative energy to jump start our resources and get them flowing.

Free Weekly Reading #39 Mirror Dragon Tarot
The Center card this week is the Princess of Pentacles. In each suit the four court cards represent our implementation of the knowledge gained by traveling the path of that suit. For the Pentacles, our Earth symbol, this is about resources; time, energy, money and our physical bodies. The numerical cards show us ways in which we can gain knowledge about each suit and as the first step of putting that knowledge to work in our lives, the princesses find their courage and strength in their innocence. They’re just starting out and have no experience so they don’t have any preconceived ideas about how this journey will look. They stand open and willing to learn, unconcerned about how they look or whether they’re “doing it right” because that story hasn’t been written yet. As the center card this week, the Princess of Pentacles asks us to focus our attention on the physical. With open minds we’re able to see new realities and we’re ready to step in and work with information, options and directions we haven’t experienced or considered before. If some elements of the work that we’ve become accustomed to have fallen apart or broken or just no longer do what we need them to do, now is a good time to look for new options. If the job you’re in doesn’t pay enough to meet your emotional or creative needs or has simply become so stale or hostile that it’s hard to get out of bed in the morning, begin a search for another way to put your energy towards making your life tenable. If your job has disappeared, like SO many have recently, perhaps it’s time to look at a different career path. Maybe this is a chance to look at what you’d like to do for income rather than what you have to do.

Mirror Dragon Free Weekly Tarot Reading #37
With two of the three cards this week from the Major Arcana it looks like the energy will be focused on giving us a chance to look at the bigger life lessons we can grasp in the challenges and interactions we face right now. As a tool to use for balance, taking brief moments of quiet meditation can be a great help especially when emotions run high and a quick escape isn’t an option. At times when pressure gets too heavy or interactions get too intense, try to work in a moment to take three to five deep breaths focusing on the breath itself, in through the nose and slowly out through the mouth. (With a mask, please, if you’re dealing with an unknown situation.) The added oxygen will help your brain work more efficiently and the extra moment, small as it is, can really pull energy back to center giving you and whoever you’re dealing with a chance to realign with the crux of the matter.

Mirror Dragon Free Weekly Reading #36
This will be a week of clear thinking. Even if we do find ourselves in confusion, the whys and wherefores will be clear and so, too, the way to get to clarity. The Major Arcana influence of the Wheel of Fortune gives us distinct ways to see how things around us are falling into place. The preparations we’ve made begin to align and we see where our hard work and the serendipity of the Universe intersect and entwine in a combination of luck and dedication to become the path we’re on.
