Life with a Life Coach
Starting fresh is always difficult. It is uncomfortable and unknown. The path you now find yourself on is scary and you have no idea what direction you should take. Do you take the path to the left which turns downhill but littered with past choices or do you take the path to the right that looks bright and cheery until you see the misty gloom by the first bend? Or then, do you just walk forward into the woods and blaze a new trail? All of these questions were swimming in my head after I was furloughed from my position after 10 years of service because of Covid.

Coconut Grove
Today’s adventure brings us to the beautiful city of Miami in Florida. Although I did not have much time to explore, I did get to see a little bit of Coconut Grove which is considered to be a village within the city has great shopping and some wonderful restaurants. The streets are great to walk around and browse boutiques, walk by the bay or visit the park. It did not feel like I was in a city of 400,000 people!

Fault in Your Stars
Facebook Marketplace: Baby Shoes. Never Worn. $5 She submitted her posting, closed her laptop and paced around the living room with tears streaming from her eyes. How many times was this going to happen? She couldn’t go through this again. Each month was so hard. She was late. Then she was not. It could take three or four months but her time always came. That little plus sign had never appeared before and then after just a week, the blood appeared. There just had to be a logical explanation.

Top 10 Romantic Travel Movies
There is nothing more romantic than finding love through travel. Yes, you can have a fling while on the beaches of Hawaii or get down and dirty at a Slovakian beer festival but there is more to romance travel than just finding your next true love. It is more about finding yourself and falling in love with that person. You have literally known yourself inside and out for your entire life. You are the last person that you think about before going to bed at night and the first person you think about when waking up in the morning.

The Fridge Again!!
I’m board at home, stuck inside trying to avoid Covid outside and I’m at the refrigerator, again looking for a snack. A song pops into my mind and I close the door without taking anything out. I am playing that viral song from KD French in my head and now it is stuck up there, on repeat.

Kick Rocks
Valentine’s Day comes just one day a year. Although I am definitely not single this year, I’ve spent plenty of holidays where I was flying solo. From being dumped because he didn’t want to buy a present to finally being fed up with their shenanigans, people become single even if it is not of their own choosing. For those in need, here is my epic Anti-Valentine’s Day playlist for your enjoyment.

Balloons of Blossom
Memorial Day weekend always holds a special place in my heart. The tiny town of Chagrin Falls, Ohio annually hosts the Blossom Time Festival, complete with hot air balloon competitions, a carnival and parade. From the age of 3 years old, my brother had always wanted to become a balloon pilot. By the age of 15, he accomplished that goal and now flies every year at that exact spot of conception.
